Eithinog – Sleeps 6

Eithinog combines comfort and style with open-plan living. The oak-furnished kitchen and dining area is fully equipped with modern appliances, while the sitting room features oak flooring, Freeview TV, Wi-Fi, DVD player and a wood-burning stove (logs provided). Bedrooms include combinations of king-size and single beds, each with TVs and oak furnishings, plus an en suite in one room. Outside, a large enclosed garden offers patio furniture, gas BBQ, and plenty of space to relax.

Helygen – Sleeps 6

This spacious cottage boasts a welcoming kitchen/diner and a cosy sitting room with oak flooring, Freeview TV, DVD player and gas fire. Two generous family bedrooms each include a mix of king and single beds, en suites, and oak furnishings. French windows lead onto a sunny patio, and the enclosed garden comes with outdoor furniture, gas BBQ and sea glimpses from the lower bedroom window.

Llechwedd Mawr – Sleeps 6

For those seeking complete seclusion, Llechwedd Mawr offers a beautifully refurbished stone cottage in total tranquillity. With no neighbours, no traffic and no light pollution, it’s ideal for stargazing and recharging. The property includes three bedrooms (double, twin and bunk), a wood-burning stove in the open-plan living/dining room, and stunning mountain views. Access is via a gravel track and ford—best suited to 4x4s or cars with good clearance—adding to its charm of “splendid isolation.”

The cottages sit in a peaceful, picturesque setting overlooking the Leri Valley, just 8 miles north of Aberystwyth and only 1 mile from Talybont Village and the A487 Coast Road. Eithinog - Sleeps 6:

Open plan kitchen and living room with country style oak furniture, kitchen area with slate tiled flooring, dining table and 6 chairs, fridge freezer, cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. The sitting area comes with oak flooring, a 3-piece suite with seating for 6 people, a coffee table, a nest of tables, a TV, DVD player, Wi-Fi and a wood-burning stove (logs provided free). From the living room, there’s 1 step to a hallway with a back door to a patio with a washing line and table and 6 chairs. The family bathroom comes with an over-bath shower and slate tile flooring. 2 more steps lead to the bedrooms. The first bedroom has oak flooring and an en suite shower room with slate tile flooring. There is king size and single beds, a dressing table, an ottoman, bedside cabinets and a TV. A second bedroom come with oak flooring, king-size and single beds, a dressing table, an ottoman, bedside cabinets and a TV. The large enclosed garden comes with patio furniture, a gas barbeque and a clothesline. A lawn with a driveway and parking are inside the front gates.

Facilities include a dining table and 6 chairs, TV, Wi-Fi, radio, fridge freezer, electric cooker and dishwasher with slate tiled floor. A utility room has an entrance to a large back patio. A washing machine and tumble dryer are available. The bathroom comes with an over-bath shower. The sitting room has oak flooring, a 3-piece suite with seating for 6 people, TV, DVD player, coffee table, a nest of tables, a gas fire and a French window opening onto a patio with a table and 6 chairs. This 5-star cottage has 2 spacious family bedrooms with oak flooring. Both have en suite shower rooms with slate tile flooring, a combination of king and single beds, a dressing table, wardrobe, bedside cabinets and an ottoman. The sea is just visible from the lower bedroom window. The large enclosed garden comes with patio furniture, gas barbeque and a clothesline. Lawn with driveway and parking inside front gates.

The three-bedroomed stone cottage has been immaculately refurbished. The open-plan living room comes with a wood-burning stove and dining area with mountain views and a tiled floor. The kitchen has a tiled floor. The bathroom comes with an over-the-bath shower and toilet. On the first floor, there is a double bedroom with 5ft bed, a twin bedroom and a bunk bedroom. A Shower room comes with a toilet. Llechwedd Mawr is splendid isolation personified. There are no neighbours and there is no tarmac road to it (you have to drive on a well-surfaced gravel track and cross a ford to get there: a 4x4 or vehicle with good ground clearance is recommended). There is no noise (great for the soul) or light pollution (great for stargazing). It’s off the beaten track, but anything but rough and ready.
