Accommodation:

Our wonderful property is beautifully furnished and boasts incredible views of the estuary, Kingswear and out to the sea.

This bright and sunny house has a lovely king room which enjoys glorious views over the Dart Estuary. On the first floor, a lovely entrance hall with stairs leads to the main reception room below, two bedrooms and the main bathroom. The first bedroom comes with a king size bed and en suite shower room. A family room with a walk-in shower is also available.

Stairs lead to a newly converted bedroom boasting Velux balconies and stunning views of the sea and town. On the upper ground floor is a light filled lounge with two settees, occasional chair, side tables, television, DVD player, a fireplace and a Juliette balcony to savour the view from.

On the lower ground floor is an open plan kitchen/dining area, including a gas double oven, microwave, fridge, wine store and dishwasher.

Outside there a decking area with lots of seating areas, offering a great spot for a glass of wine whilst admiring the views. There is also a small garden area and a decking area offers seating for al fresco dining when the sun is shining.

Visiting Dartmouth & Exploring Devon:

Dartmouth has a wide range of shops available. You’ll find a Spar, Somerfield, local paper shop and outside the village there is a Sainsburys. Dartmouth Castle sits atop a rocky outcrop at the mouth of the River Dart and enjoys stunning sea views. Dartmouth Museum has a maritime theme and tells the rich history of Dartmouth’s past. Excellent attractions in the local area include:

On the top floor there is a gorgeous master bedroom with a sumptuous king-size bed that offers glorious views and an en suite shower.

Beautiful Brixham is just a 5-minute drive away and home to new cafes, bars, shops & restaurants, plus a scenic fishing harbour. Further around the harbour you’ll also find the Shoalstone outdoor pool which offers free swimming in the summer season. You can also head to Berry Head, a great dog-walking area which offers majestic views over Torquay and Paignton. Superb attractions to visit include:

Bramblemoor Cottage in Leusdon offers outstanding self-catering accommodation. Our cottage on Dartmoor is in the ideal location for exploring Devon, only 1 mile from the River Dart and just 14 miles from Totnes, Dartington and Tavistock.

Our charming cottage sleeps up to 2 people and is perfect for a memorable getaway. The cottage is comfortably furnished and in a wonderful position for exploring Dartmoor.

Unwind in the cosy living/dining room which comes with an open fire, Freeview TV, a DVD player, iPod/USB connection and comfortable seating. Enjoy some home cooking in the well-equipped kitchen which has an electric cooker + microwave, refrigerator and washing machine with a tumble dryer.

The twin bedroom can be converted into a super king-size bed. The bathroom has a shower over the bath. All bed linen and towels are supplied.

We are fortunate to be in a great area for exploring Devon. The nearest shopping centre of Ashburton is 5 miles away, whilst nearby Widecombe and Poundsgate both have lovely pubs to visit. The larger towns of Exeter and Plymouth are within 30 minutes drive. You can also visit the seaside resorts of Torquay, Dartmouth and Salcombe, plus an array of magnificent National Trust properties. Ferry View is a spacious townhouse ideal for a family self catering holiday in the heart of Dartmouth, Devon. The cottage is full of character and has wonderful views of the River Dart, castle and out to sea. It is just a short walk to the town centre where you will find all the local amenities you need.

The holiday cottage is very comfortable and it can sleep up to 6 people in a master bedroom with great views and 2 twin bedrooms. One of the twin rooms can be made into a king size bed on request.

Downstairs there is an open plan living/diner which has a TV, DVD player, Wi-Fi, dining table and views of the estuary. There is a modern and well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast table. The kitchen has all the facilities you would expect in four-star accommodation equipped including an integrated electric oven. ceramic hob, fridge, dishwasher and combination microwave. The town of Dartmouth has a range of places to eat, shops and an abundance of culture. There are a number of stunning beaches including Blackpool Sands just a short drive away whilst there are opportunities to explore the stunning South Devon Coastline, by walking the South West coastal path. There are also opportunities for sailing and water sports.
