You can enjoy spectacular countryside views throughout the property.

We are near the beautiful Trossachs National Park. Great golf courses including Gleneagles are nearby. Salmon/trout fishing, cycling, walking and kids' activities are available. Perthshire has many places to explore.

The Coach House, Kilmun, Dunoon, Argyll (Sleeps 1-6)

The Coach House offers self catering accommodation located on the edge of the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park in Kilmun. Our cottage is just a short drive from Dunoon and is a superb base for those wishing to explore Argyll.

This very well appointed house stands in the grounds of an early 20th Century Villa and is an excellent conversion of a former Coach House. It has spectacular views over the Holy Loch and comfortably sleeps six and it provides an excellent base for touring the beautiful county of Argyll.

Downstairs is a comfortable lounge and large sun lounge with dining area which overlooks the Holy Loch. The kitchen is well equipped and French doors open onto the garden. A downstairs double bedroom is available and there is also a shower and toilet. Upstairs is a lounge area, twin bedroom, double bedroom and bathroom.

There are some fabulous pubs and restaurants nearby, including the famous Whistlefield Hotel with its pub meals and tales of smugglers. It's a fantastic base from which to tour the west coast of Scotland – Inveraray, Tarbert, Portavadi, and Oban are all easily accessible for a day trip out.

Aberfoyle Cottages offers superb self catering accommodation in Balleich. Our two cottages near Aberfoyle enjoys glorious views of Ben Lomond and lush fields. We are a great base for exploring Stirling and Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park.

Outside of the holiday cottage is a large secure south facing garden which is ideal for children and pets. There is a barbeque area with outdoor seating (BBQ provided, please bring your own charcoal) and also a large secure storage shed for your bicycles and other sporting equipment. We have also provided comfy sun loungers if you fancy a day of just relaxing and catching some rays in the secluded garden. There is also ample parking space for 2 cars adjacent to the cottage and additional parking a short distance away.

This beautiful part of Scotland is a haven for walkers, cyclists, nature lovers and those who want to visit the many sights throughout Stirling and the Loch Lomond National Park. The village of Aberfoyle is just a short 10 min stroll away down a well lit, quiet road where you will find a supermarket (open from 8 am to 10 pm 7 days a week), a variety of shops, bars and restaurants to supply you with all the food, entertainment and refreshments you will need for your stay. 

This is also an excellent base for touring with many tourist attractions and main cities all within an hour's drive. There are also regular bus links from the village and excellent local taxi services. Most of the main supermarkets all deliver to Aberfoyle. Order before you leave home and have it delivered after your arrival.
