This modern and well-equipped holiday home comfortably accommodates up to 8 people, making it perfect for families or groups of friends seeking a special getaway.

The lodge features a luxurious, well-equipped kitchen with an island unit, a spacious dining area, and a lounge with ample seating for all. Smart TVs are provided for your entertainment. French doors open onto a splendid sun terrace, offering breathtaking views of the open countryside.

On the ground floor, an inner lobby off the lounge leads to a double bedroom with an en suite wet room featuring a shower, WC, and hand basin. There's also a smaller bedroom with adult-sized bunk beds. A staircase from the lounge takes you to the first-floor landing, where you'll find a family bathroom with a bath, WC, and hand basin. Two beautifully furnished bedrooms await: a twin-bedded double room at the rear and a master bedroom with a king-sized double bed at the front. The master bedroom boasts panoramic views from a railed balcony, overlooking the surrounding countryside, and comes with an en suite shower room with WC and hand basin. All bedrooms are made up and ready for your arrival, and towels are provided for your stay.

Outside, a paved patio area offers unobstructed views of Kit Hill. It's equipped with a BBQ, table, and chairs, and it adjoins a 1-acre paddock. A garden shed houses two bicycles, which guests are welcome to use.

The area surrounding Upton Cross has something for everyone, with plenty of places to stop for a meal and refreshments. Within 1.5 miles, you'll find two public houses serving excellent food, as well as a post office and general store in the village of Upton Cross. The lodge is also close to open moorland and the village of Minions, nestled at the foot of Caradon Hill. This area is a UNESCO World Heritage site, where moorland horses roam freely. The moor landscape is dotted with the remains of old engine houses from the mining era, providing a mysterious reminder of the local mining heritage in Poldark Country.

Jupiter Lodge is a modern detached cottage, double glazed with central heating and equipped to a high standard, with an acre paddock adjoining. It sleeps 8 having 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Heating and all utilities are included.

The lodge has 4 bedrooms, a double bedded room with an ensuite wet room and a small bedroom with adult sized bunk beds downstairs. Upstairs is the master bedroom with a kingsize double bed and ensuite bathroom as well as a further twin bedded room.

Outside there is a paved patio area with unobstructed views towards Kit Hill. It has a BBQ together with a table and chairs, and an adjoining 1 acre paddock. A garden shed houses 2 bicycles which guests are welcome to use.

The outlook from the lodge is a panoramic open view southeast towards Kit Hill with Dartmoor in the distance, and Caradon Hill can be seen through the trees to the southwest. Local footpaths include walks along the banks of the River Lynher as it runs through the pretty Stara Woods. It is a 10 minute walk to open moorland and is an ideal location for walkers and wildlife enthusiasts. 

Upton Cross is just over a mile from the lodge, as is the village of Rilla Mill. Rising from Upton Cross to the village of Minions is a further 1.5 miles. This is a popular part of Bodmin Moor with the Hurlers, a Bronze Age stone circle, the Mining Heritage Centre and the famous Cheesewring rocky outcrop. The open air Sterts Theatre with its interesting programme of events and plays is located at Upton Cross.
