Ramstead Holiday Chalets are on a 26-acre estate in a quiet woodland setting. The chalets are surrounded by some of the best-loved countryside in Lakeland. We are within easy reach of many places of interest.

The estate is a mature natural mixed woodland with areas of rough grassland and wetland. It is home to a variety of wildlife with a diversity of habitats. The chalets are on the western edge of the woodland and are equipped with all necessities for a self-catering holiday.

Our holiday chalets can sleep up to 6 people and are ideal for family breaks away or a group of friends who share an interest in exploring this beautiful part of England.

Fairwinds Chalets, Carrbridge, Inverness-shire, The Highlands (Sleeps 1-6)

Set in 7 acres of grounds and surrounded on three sides by natural woodland, Fairwinds Chalets are in the centre of the village of Carrbridge, Inverness-shire in the Cairngorm National Park.

We have two different types of chalets available. Two-bedroom chalets sleeping up to four people and three-bedroom chalets sleeping up to six people.

Being situated in the Cairngorm National Park there are all sorts of outdoor activities available. Guests can try out skiing, snowboarding, walking, cycling, white water rafting, fishing, sailing, zip-wiring, quad biking and horse trekking.

The village for Carrbridge is in the northern part of the Cairngorms. The Highland town of Aviemore is a 10 minute drive with the capital of the Highlands, Inverness, a 25-minute drive away. There are numerous distilleries within easy reach from the accommodation where you can see how the whisky is made and even sample some of the final product.
