To Rest A While is a lovely shepherd's hut situated on a working farm near Wells in Somerset.

Accommodation

The hut sleeps 2 adults in a double bed and includes a fully equipped kitchen, toilet and shower room. All guests are welcomed with a west country cream tea.

Outside we have a lovely BBQ area to enjoy.

Shopping at Clarks outlet village, exploring the caves and mill at Wookey Hole or visiting Cheddar - a world-famous area of outstanding natural beauty. You will be based a short drive from the cities of Bristol and Bath along with the seaside town of Weston-Super-Mare. Or you can simply relax at To Rest a While and enjoy the views, walk around the secluded lanes and take in the scenery of the Somerset Levels.

We are a haven for nature lovers looking for somewhere special to stay. You can enjoy strolling around the beautiful parkland and relax by the scenic lake which is stocked with carp, ducks, moorhens and geese.

We have two tastefully furnished lodges available, Oak Lodge and Chestnut Lodge. Both lodges come with sitting areas with comfy seating and a TV. Cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen that comes with a range of appliances. Each lodge has comfortable bedrooms for a restful night’s sleep and modern bathrooms. Outside each lodge, there is decking with garden furniture for al fresco dining when the sun is shining.

Each lodge comes with towels, bedding, Wi-Fi, Freeview TV, a hairdryer, an iron and a washing machine. You can also look forward to a cream tea on arrival.

We also offer a daily or weekly package for fishing on our beautiful lake – please enquire for details.

Devon has something for everyone, including stunning beaches, amazing countryside and majestic national trust properties. Great activities in the area include cycling rambling and watersports. The whole family can have fun at The Bear Trail, Devon's muddiest family assault course. Alternatively, visit Yaraks Bird of Prey and get the opportunity to handle and fly birds of prey.
