The ground-level layout is designed with convenience in mind, featuring retractable doors for wheelchair access. Guests should note that there is a small step to navigate. The spacious double bedroom includes a king-size bed and floor-to-ceiling windows that open onto a private garden, providing a light and airy atmosphere. The lounge offers a comfortable sofa bed that sleeps two additional guests. The bathroom features a luxurious roll-top bath, a separate shower, a toilet, and a hand basin.

The open-plan kitchen and living room are well-equipped, featuring a wood stove for cosy evenings and a TV for entertainment. Floor-to-ceiling windows in this space also open onto the garden, allowing seamless access to the outdoors. Three steps lead to the lawn and garden area, which boasts a paved sitting area complete with a gas barbecue and chairs, creating an ideal spot for al fresco dining.

Guests staying at Clock Cottage are welcome to explore the surrounding woodland and ponds, adding to the sense of escape. Onsite, there is a floodlit tennis court available for guests who wish to stay active.

Llanvetherine is an excellent base for exploring the wider Monmouthshire area. White Castle, just a five-minute drive or a 45-minute walk away, is one of the Three Castles included in the renowned Three Castles Walk, alongside Skenfrith and Grosmont. The 12th-century Hunters Moon Inn is also within walking distance, offering traditional hospitality and a sense of history. Llanthony Priory, with its atmospheric 12th-century Cistercian Abbey ruins, is a 30-minute drive and features a hotel and bar nestled within the historic site.

Clock Cottage provides wonderful self-catering accommodation in Llanvetherine near Abergavenny. Set in 80 acres of grounds in Monmouthshire, we are the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life.

Our 18th Century cottage is nestled in the grounds of an old farmhouse but comes with its own privacy. The property is elegantly furnished and sleeps up to 2 adults, ideal for a romantic getaway. The cottage gets its name from a unique 18th Century clock on the adjoining roof.

This ground-level cottage comes with retractable doors for wheelchairs but please beware there is one small step. The spacious property has one large double bedroom with a king-size bed and floor-to-ceiling windows which open onto a private garden. The bathroom has a gorgeous roll-top bath, separate shower, loo and hand basin.

A well-equipped kitchen/living room has a wood stove to keep you cosy, a TV and floor-to-ceiling windows which open onto the garden. There are 3 steps up to the lawn/garden which comes with a paved sitting area with a gas BBQ and chairs. A lovely place for al fresco dining.

Guests are welcome to wander around the woodland and ponds. We also have a floodlit tennis court onsite which is available for guests.

White Castle is about 5 minutes by car (45 minutes walk) and is one of 3 castles included in the Three Castles Walk. The other two are Skenfrith and Grosmont. A 45-minute walk is the 12th-century Hunters Moon Inn. Llanthony Priory is around 30 minutes away and has a 12th Century Cistercian Abbey. A hotel and bar are in the old ruins too. Abergavenny is 5 miles away and has lots of interesting shops to see. A range of great attractions are in the local area:
