Glingerbank is a luxurious Edwardian house in Cumbria that offers a home away from home for parties up to 26 people. Nestled in its beautifully maintained grounds, it provides a luxurious base for those who want to enjoy some time with friends and family. Glinger Bank is away from the hustle and bustle of the city, however within easy driving distance of Longtown, Gretna Green and Carlisle.

About Glingerbank:

This fabulous house has been completely refurbished, providing guests with a place to stay that includes everything you need for an enjoyable break away. We want you to feel right at home from the moment you arrive. The spacious entrance hall has a wonderful open fire, a real treat to use in the winter months

With its 13 bedrooms, 13 bathrooms, 6 reception rooms and games room, there is plenty of space for all guests to rest relax and recuperate. Dogs are welcome so you don’t need to worry about leaving your canine companions at home. We enjoy meeting all the family!

All reception rooms are on the ground floor and we have also installed a lift to the second floor for those who require it. A disabled loo is also currently under construction on the ground floor.

One of the most popular rooms in the house is the games room, which is on the ground floor. Here you will find a full-size snooker table, table football, fireplace and a wall-mounted widescreen TV.

Summer days at Glingerbank are fantastic. There is plenty of space to rest, relax, soak up the sun or enjoy some competitive sport. So whilst some guests relax in the hot tub before tucking into a barbecue, why not have a go at tennis, croquet, badminton or boules.

The house offers plenty of space for families and friends to relax in comfort without getting in each other’s way, There are different reception rooms where you can read, relax, play games, watch TV or listen to music.

Kirkandrews House is set amidst stunning historic parkland, a short drive from the centre of Longtown in Cumbria. For those who are looking for a break away from the hustle and bustle of modern-day living, Kirkandrews House is the perfect place to stay. It sleeps up to 13 people, has wonderful views over the Border Esk, is a great base for exploring North East England & the Scottish Borders and best of all pets are very welcome.

About Kirkandrews House:

We want guests to feel right at home from the moment they arrive, so have ensured that the house is comfortably furnished and includes everything you need for an enjoyable self catering break away. This listed property has been created from a barn and two cottages. The house has been thoughtfully decorated in warm, neutral colours and is carpeted throughout, apart from the kitchen and bathroom areas. There is plenty of space with three different rooms to sit and do your own thing and a large dining room which allows you all to come together for meals.

Honeysuckle Cottage & The Coachman’s Cottage in Llangasty offers wonderful self-catering accommodation, nestled in a beautiful area of Powys. Our cottages are based in the glorious grounds of our Georgian manor house, ideal for the ultimate getaway.

Honeysuckle Cottage:

Our charming property sleeps up to 8 people and is great for a group or family holiday in the country. Unwind in the cosy living area which comes with comfy sofas, a TV and a dining area for up to 8 people. Cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen which comes with a range of appliances for home dining. Outside there is a paved courtyard seating area, offering a great spot for a glass of wine in the afternoon sun.

Three attractive bedrooms are upstairs: a king, super king and twin room. All the rooms have en suite facilities. A further downstairs double en suite is also available.

The Coachman’s Cottage:

This superb cottage sleeps up to 2 people, perfect for the ultimate romantic trip away. Relax in the open plan living area that comes with a TV and a log burner for the winter months. Rustle up some delicious dishes in the kitchen/dining area. Enjoy a restful night’s sleep on the super king bed which can be made into a twin. A modern en suite bathroom comes with a bath and power shower.

You can wander around the gorgeous gardens and grounds of the manor house.

We are in the ideal location for exploring the area. The area is great for golf, cycling, walking, horse-riding, fishing and lots more, including the majestic Brecon Beacons National Park. For experienced fly-fishermen the wily trout of River Usk is a must. Llangorse Multi-activity centre is a short drive away and is great for climbers. Further attractions to visit include:
