Beach Cottage is a family-friendly holiday home, that enjoys sea views from almost all rooms. A lovely place to stay for families and friends, with the benefit of being ideally located for those who want to explore Aberdeenshire.
The cottage is elevated and therefore has spectacular views overlooking the bay, beach and sea. Seals are often seen on the beach. Dolphins and whales have been sighted in the bay. Most of the beach is sand but there are some rocks which provide endless entertainment for rock pooling. There is a private enclosed front area with seating taking in the sea views whilst enjoying a BBQ. There are 2 steps to access the front garden area from the single coastal road which leads to a shared car park. The sandy beach can be easily and directly accessed from there and is only 100m from the cottage.
Gardenstown is a friendly, quiet, tranquil fishing village with a beautiful, working harbour so there are always lots of fishing boats to watch. There is a museum at the harbour and craft shops around the village. When the tide is out, guests can walk to the nearby village of Crovie or for a more energetic walk, guests can take the hill path up to St John's Church which offers spectacular views of Gardenstown and the bay.
