The Coach House

Situated in the heart of the estate, The Coach House is the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life. Tastefully furnished and fully equipped for a relaxing getaway, the cottage features a living room with an electric living flame fire and Freeview TV with DVD player. The well-equipped kitchen includes a microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, washing machine, and tumble dryer.

On the first floor there is a double and a twin bedroom, both sharing a bathroom with a shower over the bath. Outside, an enclosed private lawned garden with a decking area, furniture, and BBQ provides the ideal spot for al fresco dining while enjoying the views. Guests also have over 2,000 acres of woodland, gardens, and river walks to explore.

Dairy Cottage at Houdston Farm

This refurbished cottage boasts spectacular sea views and offers a relaxing getaway in a special location. Set just a few miles from the estate gardens and close to the town of Girvan, it combines the best of both worlds. From the garden area, guests can savour glorious views over Ailsa Craig.

The large sitting/dining area is a great place to unwind after a day of exploring, while the well-equipped kitchen comes with a range of appliances for home cooking. A newly installed log burner adds warmth and cosiness. The cottage includes two bedrooms—a master room and a twin room—which share a family bathroom.

Lady Farm

Lady Farm is a large and spacious former coaching inn set in a quiet corner of the estate grounds, offering complete tranquillity beside the River Girvan. Sleeping up to eight guests, it features a generous modern kitchen with an island, a cosy dining room with a log burner, and a large comfortable sitting room, also with a log burner, providing plenty of space to unwind after a day exploring.

On the ground floor there are two bedrooms (one with a king-size bed and one with twin beds that can be configured as a super king), along with a bathroom. Upstairs, there are two additional bedrooms (a king and a twin) and another bathroom. A third bathroom is located off the utility room, and a spacious porch area provides plenty of room for wellies, dogs, and fishing rods, making Lady Farm ideal for a relaxing countryside escape.

Haus Saron, Largs, Ayrshire (Sleeps 1-6)

Haus Saron offers three self-catering holiday cottages and apartments situated in Largs, Ayrshire. These self-catering properties are situated close to the Yacht Haven and a short distance from the beach on the Firth of Clyde. We are within easy travelling distance of Glasgow, Prestwick Airport, Loch Lomond and other attractions in the West of Scotland.

Haus Saron is a large detached house set amidst two acres of gardens and woodlands which back onto the local golf course, yet only a few yards from the beach. Within the grounds are three-holiday cottages called Coach House, Beech House and Zion House. You can stroll around the wild bird sanctuary garden, home to robins and blue tits.

About Haus Saron:

All cottages are built and equipped to a high standard and have gas central heating. They all have oak-fronted fitted kitchens fully equipped with a washing machine, microwave, fridge freezer, coffee machine and some with a dishwasher.

Each of the sitting rooms boasts comfortable furniture with a TV, games and books. There are fitted carpets in all the rooms with the exception of the kitchen and bathroom which have tiled floors. All bed linen is provided. Electricity and gas charges are included in the tariff. On request, we can supply cots(2) and high chairs(2). A patio area and barbeque set are available. There is secure and private car parking for all cottages. All cottages do not have all the facilities.

Beech House:

Beech House is recently built and is the ground floor of a detached house - there are only 2 steps into the property The accommodation consists of a living/dining room, bathroom with electric shower and shaver point, kitchen, entrance porch and hall, one double bedroom and two twin bedrooms. Gas central heating and double glazing. It sleeps a maximum of 6.

Zion House:

Zion House is also recently built and is above Beech House on the first floor of a detached house. It has partial sea views and backs onto the golf course. The accommodation consists of a living/dining room, bathroom with electric shower and shaver point, kitchen, entrance porch stairway and hall, two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom. Gas central heating and double glazing. It sleeps a maximum of 6.

Coach House:

Coach House was built about 50 years ago above the former Coach House and Stable. It has since been extensively upgraded to the same standard as the other houses. It is on the first floor. It has partial sea views and backs onto the golf course. The accommodation consists of a living/dining room, bathroom with electric shower and shaver point, kitchen, entrance porch, stairway and hall, one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. It has a pulldown bed in the sitting room Gas central heating and double glazing. This self-catering accommodation sleeps a maximum of 5.

Largs is a holiday resort with a population of about 12000 and is situated on the Clyde Coast in Ayrshire.

Within the town there are many activities: There are two golf courses in the town Largs Golf Club a private parkland club and Routenburn Golf Club a public moorland/hill course with spectacular views of the Clyde. There are three bowling greens in the town with Halkshill having indoor rinks. Only a 5 minute walk away is a local swimming pool.

Walking is a favourite pastime - one can either walk along the three-mile-long promenade or sample other hill and country walks. There is a well-equipped Largs Marina at the south end of the town. Diving and fishing trips can be organised there. Other marinas are at Troon, Ardrossan and Kip.
