Carefully converted from former farm and mill buildings, the cottages are grouped around a picturesque courtyard beside the original farmhouse. Nestled within ten acres of woodland and pasture, Low Costa Mill Holiday Cottages enjoy a stunning countryside location, with the mill stream gently flowing along the boundary of the estate.
Whatever the weather, guests can enjoy hours of fun in the exclusive indoor heated swimming pool and adjacent toddler pool, available solely for cottage guests. Combined with the large grassy play area, complete with climbing frames, slides, swings, garden games, a treehouse, and woodland walk, many visitors find plenty to enjoy without ever needing to leave the site. A selection of BBQs is available for guests to borrow, alongside secure cycle storage facilities. Friendly goats, sheep, chickens, and cats also add to the charm of the site.
The cottages range in size, accommodating between two and eight guests, plus cots. Each family-friendly cottage features a well-equipped kitchen with everything needed for a comfortable self-catering stay. Facilities include a TV, Blu-ray player, DAB radio, conventional and microwave ovens, while all cottages except Carters Cottage include a dishwasher. For cottages without washing machines, a shared laundry room provides free-to-use washing machines and a pay-per-use tumble dryer. All cottages benefit from full electric heating and, with the exception of Thresher Cottage, feature log fires. Beds are made up prior to arrival, and towels are provided, excluding swimming pool towels. Cots and highchairs are available free of charge upon request, although cot linen is not supplied. Guests also have access to local guidebooks and tourist information available in the swimming pool entrance area. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the site.
Carters Cottage – Sleeps 2
This charming ground-floor cottage is ideal for a romantic getaway, offering lovely views across the grounds and a peaceful position beside the duck pond. The cottage includes a well-equipped kitchen with dining area, a cosy lounge with comfortable seating, an open log fire, TV, Blu-ray/DVD player, and a spacious bedroom that can be arranged as either twin beds or a super king-size bed. A large en-suite bathroom includes both a bath and separate shower. Outside, guests can relax with garden seating while enjoying the tranquil surroundings. Dogs are welcome year-round.
