Manesty Holiday Cottages, Borrowdale, Keswick, Cumbria, Lake District

Manesty – Traditional Family-Run Accommodation in the Heart of Borrowdale

Manesty is nestled in the beautiful Borrowdale Valley, at the heart of the Lake District. Located just five miles from the market town of Keswick, less than a mile from both Derwent Water and the picturesque hamlet of Grange, it offers an ideal base for exploring some of England’s most stunning scenery.

Set within two acres of well-tended gardens and grounds, Manesty provides a choice of charming cottages and glamping accommodation sleeping between 2 and 8 guests. The properties boast wonderful views of the surrounding fields, woodlands, and fells. Week-long stays begin on either Fridays or Saturdays depending on the property, with short breaks also available – from Mondays for four nights or Fridays for three nights. Reduced rates are offered in larger cottages for smaller parties.

Manesty has been home to the same family for six generations, who continue their long-standing tradition of welcoming visitors to the Lake District. All properties are smoke-free, both indoors and outdoors, and pets are not accepted.
