About the Apartment
Guests enter The Wheelhouse through a shared front door into a small hallway, with the entrance to the apartment leading into a cosy lounge and dining area. The lounge features a double sofa bed, comfortable chairs, and a television, making it a relaxing space to unwind.
The double bedroom leads off from the lounge and is furnished with a wardrobe and a comfortable bed, with all bedding supplied. The kitchen and bathroom also adjoin the lounge. The kitchen is equipped with a gas cooker, microwave, fridge, and essentials for self-catering, while the bathroom includes a WC, washbasin, bath, and fitted shower over the bath. Towels are provided for guests’ convenience.
Additional amenities include central heating, free Wi-Fi, and complimentary tea, coffee, and milk on arrival. There is also a small courtyard at the rear of the property. All electricity and gas are included in the rental price.
Parking
Parking is available in a council-owned car park just a three-minute walk from the apartment. A weekly ticket can also be purchased, which covers parking in 25–30 council car parks across Torbay.
Exploring Brixham & Beyond
The Wheelhouse makes an excellent base for exploring Brixham and the wider Devon area. The harbour town is full of charm, with its bustling fish market, colourful cottages, and welcoming pubs and restaurants.
For day trips, Plymouth and Exeter are both within easy reach by car, bus, or train. Each city is steeped in history and offers plenty to see and do, from maritime heritage to shopping and cultural attractions.
