Glanllyn Lodge, Snowdonia, Snowdonia National Park, North Wales (Sleeps 1-5)

Glanllyn Lodge is a historic gatehouse lodge completely renovated, furnished and equipped to the highest of standards. It is located in the village of Llanuwchllyn near Wales’ largest natural lake in the Snowdonia National Park, close to the market town of Bala in Gwynedd. It has been awarded a 5-star grading by the Wales Tourist Board.

The Lodge comprises of one en suite double bedroom, one twin bedroom and one single bedroom. Bed linen and towels supplied. There is a superb luxury bathroom with a whirlpool bath to really unwind and spoil yourself. The comfortable lounge is furnished to a high standard and to enhance your stay, it is equipped with sky TV & a DVD player. The large oak kitchen/diner has a dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave etc. The lodge is centrally heated and double glazed throughout and outside has an enclosed paved area with garden furniture. 

The small market town of Bala is 3 miles away with plenty of small shops, restaurants, pubs, golf course, cinema and a leisure centre. The area is popular for walkers being close to the Cambrian range of mountains including Aran Benllyn and Aran Fawddwy with Arenig Fawr being some 6 miles to the north-west. If the mountains seem like too much hard work then there are alternative walks and bicycle rides on the quiet lanes around the beautiful Bala Lake. Watersports enthusiasts are well catered for with sailing, canoeing, rowing and windsurfing being available on Bala Lake.
