Courtyard Cottage offers delightful self catering accommodation in a Grade II Listed building just off a quiet cobbled courtyard which is shared with three other cottages at Wrafton. Based near Braunton in Devon, it is a great base for exploring the local area.
The cottage sleeps two adults and two children. It comprises of one bedroom with a TV with Freeview.
The very comfortable and spacious living/dining room comes with a dining table, 3 seater leather sofa bed (for two children) plus a two-seater sofa, electric wood burner effect fire, TV with Freeview, DVD and CD player. Patio doors lead onto a courtyard with a bistro table and chairs, ideal for a spot of al fresco dining. The kitchen is well equipped with a microwave, fridge, electric oven, toaster and washing machine. There is an upstairs bathroom with shower cubicle.
Courtyard Cottage lies within 2 miles of superb sandy and surfing beaches and 1/2 mile from pretty estuary walks and the Tarka Trail. It is just 200 yards from an excellent pub (Williams Arms) which serves superb food. Nearby Braunton Burrows, designated an International Biosphere, is home to rare flowers, birds and other fauna. Braunton (1 mile) has good shops and restaurants and Barnstaple (5 miles) has a pannier market, shopping centre and leisure facilities. Further attractions to visit include:
