About The Barns
Finlaystone Barns features two charming open-plan barns, East Barn and West Barn, each suitable for up to three guests. Both barns boast a double bed and a sofa bed, providing flexible sleeping arrangements. Additionally, a newly constructed family barn can accommodate up to six people. The family barn includes an enclosed double bedroom, a separate sleeping area with either a double or single bed, and a sofa bed. Designed with accessibility in mind, the family barn is located on the ground floor, making it an excellent option for couples, two couples, or families seeking a premium space.
All properties are finished to a high standard and set within 10 acres of beautifully maintained formal gardens, surrounded by extensive woodlands waiting to be explored. The East and West Barns are housed within a recently constructed oak-framed building, which masterfully combines traditional craftsmanship with modern amenities. Access to each barn is via an external oak staircase.
Inside, the open-plan space is equipped with all the modern facilities one could desire. Each barn features a fully fitted kitchen with a microwave oven and Nespresso coffee machine, a wet room with a shower, a wide-screen TV, and Wi-Fi access. Thick insulation and radiators ensure warmth throughout, complemented by a log-burning stove for added cosiness.
The family barn, located on the ground floor of the oak-framed building, showcases exposed oak posts and beams. It includes a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower, an enclosed bedroom with a king-sized bed, and a separate sleeping area with a double or single bed. A sofa bed adds further flexibility, accommodating up to six guests. The family barn's kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave oven, Nespresso coffee machine, washing machine, and dryer. A wide-screen TV and Wi-Fi access complete the modern amenities.
