Sussex Holiday is a group of self catering holiday apartments located on the riverside with views of Rye in East Sussex. Our holiday homes are an ideal base for a couple who are looking for a relaxing break away and as a base from which to explore the many attractions and places of interest in the surrounding area.
Each of our six self catering apartments has a comfortable seating area in the living room, dining facilities and a fitted kitchen. The large picture windows look directly onto the river and marsh beyond to Rye harbour.
The bedroom has either a king size double bed or twin 3 foot wide single beds. There is also a chest of drawers/dressing table and wardrobe. Duvets are provided. Linen is included in the price. Towels are not included but may be rented at a further £2.50/person/week.
Wi-Fi internet access is free but the service can be intermittent and is not guaranteed.
There is a balcony area and views onto the river.
Comprehensive tourist information is maintained and a large scale map of the area is mounted on one wall in most apartments to help you plan your expeditions.
The apartments sit on a private quayside with a southerly outlook. Beyond the opposite bank of the river lies Romney Marsh with Rye Harbour in the distance. The river is tidal so at breakfast you may catch a sailing boat gliding by and over lunch you could be watching a clutch of dunlins nosing for food in the mud of the river bank.
