Hollowcombe Cottage, Kingsbridge, Devon, Dartmouth (Sleeps 1 - 12)

A working farm sitting on Devon's beautiful south coast, Down Farm nestles within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and area of Special Scientific Interest.

The surrounding area offers a great selection of sandy coves and wonderful beaches all within just minutes of the farm and you have a choice of three pubs serving food within a short drive and one within a half hour walk along the coastal path. The South West coastal path runs around the outskirts of the farm, providing excellent walks with stunning views and a wide variety of wildlife and birds.

At Down Farm you can come and enjoy the beautiful countryside on a working farm, amongst the natural beauty of the area in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

Dartmouth and Kingsbridge are the nearest towns. Kingsbridge is approximately eight miles away and is a delightful town with many shops, cafes, banks, restaurants, a supermarket and a sports centre with swimming pool. Dartmouth with its ancient narrow streets, boutiques, restaurants, cobbled market place and spectacular estuary setting is approximately ten miles away. There are some lovely estuary boat trips from both Kingsbridge and Dartmouth.

Down Farm is home to approximately four hundred sheep and a herd of Suckler cows, along with chickens and affords an idyllic position having Lannacombe Bay with its quiet sandy beach a short stroll away. The surrounding farmland, countryside and coast is simply beautiful and a haven for birdlife, flora and fauna - the perfect place to relax and escape the pressures of every day life.
