Upper Heath Farm offers fabulous self catering accommodation in the delightful hamlet of Heath. We offer stable and equestrian facilities, providing weekly and short breaks. The Craven Arms and Ludlow are easily accessible, plus a range of attractions in Shropshire.

Accommodation

We are nestled in a stunning countryside setting and boast amazing views of the Shropshire Hills. Our cottage is the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life. A welcome hamper includes a few essentials (including a homemade cake).

Inside there is a delightful sitting room with come seating, a TV, DVD player, Mini Hi-Fi with radio and Optiflame electric stove for those chilly days. Enjoy some home cooking in the fully-equipped open plan kitchen that includes a range of appliances including an oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and washing machine. Enjoy a delicious feast around the dining table.

Upstairs there is a master double room with enjoys glorious country views and a twin room. Both rooms share a bathroom with a shower over bath.

Outside there is a private courtyard with a table, seating and BBQ for al fresco dining whilst admiring the outstanding views. You are also welcome to explore our 16 acres of magnificent grounds.

Visiting Heath & Exploring Shropshire

This part of the country is a haven for outdoor lovers, with lots of scenic walking and cycling routes in the area. The Long Mynd combines open moor with gorgeous valleys, whilst The Stretton Hills are great for more strenuous walks. You can visit the shops and Michelin-starred restaurants in Ludlow or see the famous World Heritage Site of Ironbridge Gore. Great attractions to visit include:

Swallows Holiday Cottage offers magnificent self catering accommodation in Spreyton near Chagford. Our Devonshire cottage is the perfect place to escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life.

Set within a Grade II Listed farmhouse, our retreat sleeps up to 2 people and is a great place to stay for a romantic getaway.

Steps lead to the first floor into the kitchen/dining area which is well equipped. A cosy sitting room comes with three sofas, Freeview TV, a DVD player and DAB radio. A lovely double bedroom comes with a king size bed, the perfect place to rest your head at night. 400 thread boutique quality Egyptian cotton linen is provided. The sitting room and bedroom both enjoy delightful views of the beautiful garden. The bathroom has a large bath, shower and WC.

We provided a complimentary welcome hamper which includes fresh eggs from our runner ducks, locally made bread and butter and homemade cake. 

We are close to range of well-known attractions. Caslte Drogo was the last castle to be built in England and enjoys glorious views over the Teign Gorge. Rosemoor Gardens is one of the finest gardens to visit in the West Country and is the ideal place to visit whatever the season.

The seaside and university town of Aberystwyth is only 4 miles away and is also the home of The National Library of Wales. We have three fully equipped luxurious cottages with one sleeping six and the other two sleeping four to six. 

The cottages are recently converted stone outbuildings which have superb panoramic views of Ceredigion. Each cottage has its own furnished patio area and ample off road parking. All cottages are on ground level therefore suitable for people with mobility difficulties. 

The bus to the nearest town is only 10 metres away from the front door on all cottages. Welsh friendly atmosphere with owners on site. A welcome hamper consisting of homemade traditional cakes and preserves is presented on arrival to your cottage.
