For those needing accessibility features, there is a ramp from one of the outside doors. The first floor contains another double room with an adjoining bathroom and a large landing that includes a sofa bed and dormer windows overlooking Loch Riddon.
Teal Cottage offers comfortable ground-floor accommodation with a well-equipped kitchen and dining area. The sitting room, equipped with a log burner and TV, provides relaxing views over the loch. At the back of the house are two bedrooms, one twin and one double, each with en suite facilities. This cottage also includes a ramp outside one of the doors, making it suitable for wheelchair users.
For fishing enthusiasts, the property boasts a mile-long stretch of the well-known spate river, the Ruel, which from mid-June to the end of October, has a good run of salmon and sea trout. Tenants are welcome to fish this water free of charge using fly fishing techniques only. Additionally, there is excellent sea fishing locally and several hill lochs stocked with brown and rainbow trout, for which day permits can be purchased.
