The local area has a range of attractions to enjoy. Glorious walks can be enjoyed throughout Snape, Iken and alongside the River Alde. In nearby Saxmundham, you can wander down the busy high street where you will find cafes, pubs, restaurants and a good selection of shops. Saxmundham Museum is located on the high street and opens from Easter through to October. It provides a charming insight into the thriving market town of years gone by.

Cressland offers self catering accommodation located right next to the famous 'Splash' in the village of Kersey near the town of Ipswich in Suffolk. We offer accommodation is a Grade II fifteenth Century cottage.

Cressland by the Splash is the perfect place to retreat to and explore Constable Country, Suffolk’s idyllic open countryside, beautiful unspoilt villages and the Suffolk Coast.

The cottage offers a total of four bedrooms and sleeps up to eight people.

Just two miles away from the cottage is the charming market town of Hadleigh which has a fourteenth Century church as well as a range of shops, restaurants, pubs and cafes. Twenty miles away is Bury St Edmunds that is rich in fascinating history and is home to an award-winning market that cannot be missed. Many attractions in the area include Colchester Zoo, Framlingham Castle, Hedingham Castle and Pleasurewood Hills Leisure Park.
