We are the perfect place for a large family or a group of friends for a holiday let. The Mount has plenty of luxurious touches but still feels warm, inviting and comfortable. It has beautiful rooms that have been tastefully decorated throughout and is well equipped with everything you need for an enjoyable breakaway, including underfloor heating in the superior bedrooms.

There are 5 en suite bedrooms available, all perfect for a restful night’s sleep after a day sightseeing. All the rooms are ready for your arrival.

Portinscale is a delightful place for a Lake District holiday. The village is very close to Derwent Water (great for gentle lakeside walks and boating) and a short walk to Keswick, the centre of the beautiful Northern part of the Lake District. So it is easy to reach all the shops, cafes and theatre of Keswick, easy to get onto some good Lake District walks, while enjoying the peace and charm of a Lakeland village.
