We are the perfect place for a large family or a group of friends for a holiday let. The Mount has plenty of luxurious touches but still feels warm, inviting and comfortable. It has beautiful rooms that have been tastefully decorated throughout and is well equipped with everything you need for an enjoyable breakaway, including underfloor heating in the superior bedrooms.
There are 5 en suite bedrooms available, all perfect for a restful night’s sleep after a day sightseeing. All the rooms are ready for your arrival.
There is a lovely lounge to relax in, dining room and a kitchen that has a conventional oven and an Aga
Outside of the holiday home is a terrace garden, providing a space to relax in at any time of day, whether it’s with your morning brew or something stronger after spending the day exploring the local area. Parking is available at the rear of the property and there is a secure bike lock up.

Visiting Portinscale & Exploring The Lake District
Portinscale is a delightful place for a Lake District holiday. The village is very close to Derwent Water (great for gentle lakeside walks and boating) and a short walk to Keswick, the centre of the beautiful Northern part of the Lake District. So it is easy to reach all the shops, cafes and theatre of Keswick, easy to get onto some good Lake District walks, while enjoying the peace and charm of a Lakeland village. There are some great cafes and pub minutes away. Superb attractions to visit include:

Castlerigg Stone Circle.
Derwentwater.
Catbells.
