Caradoc of Tregardock, Treligga, Port Issac, North Cornwall (Sleeps 1-12)


Caradoc of Tregardock is a collection of Grade II listed buildings that offer self catering holiday accommodation on a working family farm just outside of Treligga. Our holiday cottages are ideally situated for exploring North Cornwall or as a place for guests to escape from the stresses of everyday living.

Accommodation
Our holiday homes have been carefully refurbished, providing guests with a relaxing and modern countryside retreat that is spacious, bright and airy. Our two holiday homes can be let individually or together making them ideal for both small and large groups who want a break away. A large studio space is available on site that is available for painting holiday, yoga break and special interest groups or parties. We can seat up to 40 people in the studio.

Julian’s House
The smaller of our 2 properties, this holiday cottage can sleep 4 people in 2 bedrooms, a double and twin room that share a bathroom. There is a kitchen & sitting room both with lovely views and a log burner to warm yourself in front of after a busy day exploring.

Main House
Sleeping a total of 8 people in 4 bedrooms, our holiday cottage is great for any larger group who wants to stay in the area as the bedrooms can be made up as either doubles or twins depending on your requirements. Upstairs the is a super-king size suite that enjoys sea views and we also have a twin room that overlooks the courtyard and fields.

Enjoy some home cooking in the fully-equipped open plan kitchen that is fully equipped and a large farmhouse kitchen table seats 12. Unwind in the cosy living room that has a log burner with 3 large sofas.

Outside we have a grass courtyard with table seating for 12, great for al fresco dining in the afternoon sun. Julian’s cottage also has a bench, table and chairs that offer sea views. The garden has a stone-built BBQ, and a large summer house offers outstanding views of Port Isaac and the Rumps in the south and Tintagel further north.

Visiting Treligga & Exploring North Cornwall
There are many beautiful walks on the coast and in the countryside that start from our farm. Caradoc attracts lots of wildlife and the stunning views from the cottages, farm and surrounding countryside is perfect for painters and wildlife enthusiasts. The Eden Project is only a 45-minute drive from the farm or you can visit one of the National Trust properties in the surrounding area such as Lanhydrock. Attractions to visit include:

Pencarrow House.
The Lost Gardens of Heligan.
King Arthur’s Castle.
Bodmin Jail attractions.
The Lappa Valley Railway.

Jacobs Cottage, Port Issac, Cornwall


Jacobs Cottage is a charming self catering holiday cottage situated just a stone’s throw from the harbour and beach in the heart of the picturesque fishing village of Port Isaac. Full of character and quirky features, this holiday cottage is the ideal base for any holiday destination exploring this beautiful part of North Cornwall.

As you enter Jacobs Cottage, the welcoming atmosphere of the fully equipped kitchen/dining room with cosy wood burning stove creates a warm and comfortable environment. The main living room is on the first floor and features a flat-screen digital TV & DVD player and views of the calm narrow street below; a perfect area to unwind and watch the world go by. There is also a triple bedroom with a bunk bed and a separate single bed and shower room with further bedrooms including the main double bedroom on the second floor. There is also Wi-Fi internet access throughout. 

Visitors are able to drive up to the cottage for the purposes of loading and unloading luggage however parking is at the top of the village in the main car park.

Please bear in mind that Jacobs Cottage is an old cottage full of character features these include, narrow stairs, fairly low ceilings and the cottage is of a limited size.

Port Isaac is famous for its narrow atmospheric streets, lively pubs and restaurants and charming shops and cafes. The harbour and beach are literally 50m down the road as is the Slipway Hotel and of course Doc Martin's house. You never know - your visit to Port Isaac might coincide with the filming of the popular series!
