The cottage has been beautifully furnished and can sleep up to 4 people, making it a great choice for a family getaway. The spacious kitchen and dining area is well-equipped, featuring a ceramic hob, oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine/tumble dryer, and microwave. There is even an iPod dock for playing background music while preparing or enjoying meals. Essentials such as tea towels, oven gloves, dishcloths, washing-up liquid, and kitchen towels are all provided for convenience. The large dining table comfortably seats up to four people.

The lounge area provides a cosy space to relax after a day of exploring, with an electric log burner, TV with Freeview, and a DVD player for entertainment. Upstairs, there are two spacious bedrooms, each with its own en suite. One bedroom has an en suite bathroom, and the other features an en suite shower room. The bedrooms can be arranged as four singles, a king-size, or super king-size beds, depending on your needs, and all are equipped with luxurious Egyptian cotton towels.

Outside, guests can enjoy an enclosed garden with seating, perfect for alfresco dining or simply unwinding in a peaceful outdoor setting.

Cosy Cottage is just a five-minute walk from Lyndhurst village, where visitors can explore the New Forest Centre, which provides a wealth of information about the history of the area. For those who enjoy cycling, bikes can be hired from The Woods Cyclery or AA Bike Hire, or you can bring your own to explore some of the fantastic bike routes starting from Lyndhurst. Cycle the eight miles to Hatchet Pond or take the longer route from Lyndhurst to Burley, passing through the scenic forest at Bolderwood.

Hurstly Cottage, Lymington, Hampshire, New Forest National Park (Sleeps 1-6)

Hurstly Cottage is an ideal self-catering holiday venue. Set deep in its own pretty secluded garden within the bounds of the New Forest National Park. The cottage is a real home from home and equipped with everything you need.

The cottage is accessed off a quiet, single-track country lane and tucked away up a long private driveway. Leaving the cottage on foot it is a pleasant walk down to the upper reaches of the Lymington River and Roydon Woods or a short walk in the other direction will put you on the open heath where the cattle and New Forest ponies graze. The nearest pub is just up the lane on the Lymington to Brockenhurst road and two others are within easy walking range.

It is furnished with a careful blend of antique and some more contemporary furniture. With south and easterly aspect, the cottage and garden capture the sun beautifully.

It has been sympathetically extended and now has four bedrooms. Bedrooms 1 and 2 are south facing and look down the garden. Bedrooms 3 and 4 have a woodland view. 3 of the 4 bedrooms can be set up as double or single beds, giving great versatility and the 4th bedroom has a queen-size double.

There are two sitting rooms, a large dining room with wood burner and a well-equipped kitchen with breakfast room attached. There is an open log fire in the Snug with a 42" LED TV making it a perfect retreat for those cooler evenings. The lower sitting room has a TV as well, so clashes of viewing can be avoided! The Utility Room gives you a washing machine, tumble dryer, drying rack, iron and ironing board. There is also a handy boot room by the back door.

The large and mature private garden has lots of interesting areas of trees and shrubs, 4 areas of lawn to play on and it is well fenced, so it is safe for children and animals. There is a patio with teak furniture. BBQ. At the rear, there is a washing line.

Hurstly Cottage is the perfect base for exploring the New Forest with its superb walks, beautiful scenery and pretty villages and only 3 miles from the sea and ferries to the Isle of Wight. Well behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement.

Inglewood Cottage offers superb self catering accommodation in the pretty Hampshire town of New Milton on the edge of the beautiful New Forest National Park. As well as the magnificent National Park the holiday cottage is within easy reach of some stunning local beaches including Barton-on-Sea.

The cottage offers spacious modern accommodation with a lovely roomy feel, as the dining area and kitchen are open plan and the lounge offers a 2 seater and 3 seater sofa with 2 easy chairs and a footstool. The two larger bedrooms are spacious enough for king size beds, with space for a cot in either bedroom and the twin bedroom is tucked nicely into the eaves with lots of room to relax. A smart TV is available in all the bedrooms. New Forest Aromatics Hand Soap & Lotion is provided.

The open plan fully fitted kitchen includes a range master cooker with gas hob and electric double oven and separate grill, slow cooker, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and toaster. A Tassimo Coffee machine with pods adds an element of elegance to your coffee. The kitchen breakfast bar provides seating for 3 with Freeview TV and the adjacent dining area has a large 6 seater table with ample space for dinner parties! Candles and flowers are also provided. A washing machine is located in the separate utility area with a sink and leads directly from the kitchen. The external door from here opens to the rear garden patio area. All crockery and cutlery are provided including Rangemaster saucepans, frying pan, wok, a great assortment of ovenware and lots of wine glasses for a relaxing drink. A highchair is also provided.

The cottage has a large and airy living room with a 32″ smart TV with a Virgin TIVO Box, Alexa, DVD player, Sandstrom Bluetooth Speaker, Wi-Fi connectivity, CD player/stereo and seating for 7 people provided by two sofas and two comfortable chairs – one with a footstool. Two children’s wicker chairs are also in the lounge. A large assortment of games and toys for all ages together with a large selection of novels and children’s books are in the lounge dresser and hall cupboard. A selection of DVDs are also provided for adults and children and games for children.

Double doors from the lounge open out onto the patio terrace and the lawned garden with its pretty pergola with mimosa and honeysuckle; a perfect location for relaxing on a hot summer day with a selection of garden furniture available.

The New Forest area is a wonderful and beautiful region in which to relax and have a beach and forest holiday. Inglewood Cottage is situated with easy access to many attractions including the New Forest National Park, the beaches of the south coast and Bournemouth and historical places of interest in both Dorset and Hampshire.

For the more adventurous, the adventure parks are always an exciting option, including Paultons Family Theme Park with Peppa Pig World, Moors Valley Country Park including an exhilarating high-level tree walk and Beaulieu Motor Museum which has go-karts for those who are wanting a faster pace.
