Third Farm is a modern, 3 bedroom farmhouse set within the tranquil Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Situated just one mile outside the village of Gartocharn and with the idyllic surroundings of Ben Lomond on one side and the Campsie Hills on the other, this self catering holiday cottage is the ideal base for any Scottish getaway.

The farmhouse is fully equipped, centrally heated, double glazed and furnished to a high standard throughout. It boasts three large bedrooms; all with king-size beds and each with their own TV. Two of the rooms have zip and link mattresses, which allow the alternative of making these rooms into twin rooms if required. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor with the other two upstairs making this ideal for those with limited mobility.

There is a spacious and modern bathroom with Jacuzzi bath, shower and heated towel rails and a comfortable living area with open gas fire and flat-screen satellite television.

The kitchen/dining area is fully equipped with oven, grill, hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher and there is a separate pantry off the kitchen has a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer.

The Farmhouse provides an excellent location from which to explore Loch Lomond, The Trossachs and Central Scotland. It offers an ideal family home for a break from the hustle and bustle of city living. It is a working farm with grazing beef cattle in the summer and breeding ewes all year round. In the spring it is lovely to watch the newborn lambs coming into the world and develop into healthy, delightful youngsters.

Loch Lomond Shores is a principal gateway to Scotland’s First National Park. It is Scotland’s most spectacular visitor destination, combining the beautiful environment with an outstanding mixture of leisure and shopping experiences overlooking the majesty of Loch Lomond at Balloch. The Third Farm is ideally located for many outdoor pursuits from walking, hill climbing, cycling, fishing, golfing, horse riding, landscape painting, visiting historic buildings and even clay pigeon shooting.
