A smart TV ensures entertainment, while a snug area with another wood-burning stove offers a quiet haven with comfortable seating.

The dining room, overlooking the back garden, features two large oak tables, providing versatile seating arrangements for up to 21 guests. Complete with a piano, the room is perfect for gatherings and dinner parties. The farmhouse kitchen, with its warm and airy atmosphere, is well-equipped, featuring an oil-fueled Aga, double electric fan oven, and all the necessary tools for culinary enthusiasts.

The bedrooms, each uniquely dressed, offer a comfortable and personalized stay. With en-suite facilities and additional bathrooms, the farmhouse accommodates various preferences. Feather and hypoallergenic pillows, along with cotton linen, ensure a restful night's sleep.

Stepping outside, the private back garden becomes a haven for relaxation, featuring two hot tubs, a sauna, comfy sofas, tables, chairs, and a spacious gas BBQ. For the more active, a tennis court and a fishing lake offer outdoor recreation. A games room, equipped with a table tennis table, pool table, and dart board, adds an extra element of fun.

Deer's Leap Retreat offers self catering accommodation in West Anstey. The village is close to the small town in Devon called South Molton. The farm has been there for many years and the house was built in 1834.

Deer's Leap Retreat is perfect for families and groups looking for somewhere special to stay.

Downstairs the main lounge has 3 large, extremely comfy sofas arranged around an inglenook fireplace which contains a large wood burning stove. A snug area also has a large inglenook fireplace & is perfect for those in your party who might like a bit of quiet time. 

The dining room has 2 large oak tables that separately seat 20 or together in a T shape seat 18. The dining room also has a piano and a comfy sofa which looks out over the back garden.

Our large farmhouse kitchen is light and airy with a warm welcoming feel. The kitchen has a table which seats 6 and 2 high chairs are provided for little ones.

Our holiday home has lovely bedrooms: All the bedrooms have been dressed individually. Each single bed has two pillows, each double bed has four. 

West Anstey is the perfect base for exploring the local area. We have a unique and varied landscape, including some of the most stunning coastline and beaches to the most breathtaking scenery of Exmoor. With excellent visitor attractions, superb restaurants, country pubs and tea rooms serving local produce, the choice of things to do is endless.

Holidays in Devon offer countryside and coastline walks and ancient ruins to explore. Modern shopping centres provide great shopping excursions. Devon has something for all the family.
