Courtyard Cottages offers five self catering cottages set on a farm on the edge of the Solway Firth overlooking the magnificent Galloway Hills. The town of Wigtown is just a short stroll away and our complex offers lots of additional facilities including indoor heated swimming pool, games barn, swings and trampolines.

Rose Cottage

Rose Cottage sleeps 6 people and is a spacious family sized holiday cottage. There are three bedrooms - a master bedroom with king size bed, 1 twin and 1 bunk room. There is also a lounge with TV and DVD player and sofas. The fully equipped kitchen has an electric oven/hob, microwave, fridge & washing machine.

Barn Cottage

Barn Cottage sleeps 2 and offers stunning views over the Galloway Hills. The cottage is secluded and consists of a ground floor bathroom, fully equipped kitchen/diner with electric oven/hob, microwave, fridge & washing machine. Upstairs there is a lovely king size bed. Bedding and towels are provided.

Granary Cottage

Granary Cottage sleeps 4 people and offers open plan accommodation with views over Wigtown Bay and the Galloway Hills. There are two bedrooms - a double and a twin room and bedding & towels are provided. The fully equipped kitchen has an electric oven/hob, microwave and fridge. There is a washing machine and dryer plus freezer space in the adjacent laundy room. The lounge has a wood burning stove, flat screen TV and DVD.

Stables Cottage

Stables Cottage sleeps 4 people,again offering open plan living downstairs alike Granary Cottage. There are two bedrooms - a double bedroom and a twin room and bedding & towels are included. The fully equipped kitchen has an electric oven/hob, microwave and fridge. There is a washing machine and dryer plus freezer space in the adjacent laundy room. The lounge has a wood burning stove, flat screen TV and DVD.

Garden Cottage

Garden Cottage sleeps 3 people and adjoins the farmhouse. There is an open plan living/kitchen/dining area and one bedroom with king size bed. There is also a sofa bed in the lounge for an extra guest. The fully equipped kitchen has an electric oven/hob, microwave and fridge. There is a washing machine and dryer plus freezer space in the adjacent laundy room. The lounge has a wood burning stove, flat screen TV and DVD.

Onsite Facilities

Courtyard Cottages has lots of onsite facilities to keep the kids entertained including an indoor heated swimming pool, games barn, bicycles available to use and you can pet the animals onsite too.

There is a laundry room and drying room available for guests to use.

Courtyard Cottages are a pair of beautifully appointed holiday homes in Lymington, Hampshire. They are an ideal retreat for couples who want a relaxing break away. These New Forest holiday cottages are a perfect choice if you are booking with friends as you share a courtyard.

There are two wonderful cottages available - Little Blue and Little Green both can accommodate 2 guests. If you are are looking for a bolt hole to escape to for a few days the minimum stay is 3 nights. 

The New Forest National Park is only minutes away and is one of the largest remaining tracts of unenclosed pasture land, heathland and forest, where wild ponies, cows, donkeys, pigs and deer roam freely. Lymington town is a delightful place to explore. It offers a variety of shops, cafes and restaurants. Guests can also enjoy a boat trip around the Solent.

Very special care has been taken to retain the original character of the whin-stone building, its natural wood interiors and pine floors with rugs.

Tasteful decoration and comfortable furnishings provide luxury holiday accommodation for four people.

Downstairs there is an open plan lounge/dining and kitchen area. There is also a bedroom (now with zip and link beds so you can have 2 singles or a double), with toilet and shower room. From the lounge area a spiral staircase leads to a minstrel gallery and second sleeping area with twin beds.

(Subject to availability you can choose whether to have your twin beds upstairs or down).
