The Bee Cottage offers wonderful self catering accommodation in the quaint village of Cottesmore. The 16th Century thatched cottage near Oakham is only 5 minutes away from Rutland Water and sleeps up to 5 people.

This charming cottage offers high-quality accommodation whilst maintaining original features including gorgeous exposed beams.

Three bedrooms are available. On the ground floor, there is a single room which enjoys lovely views and garden access. Upstairs is a master room with a king-size bed including a stunning handmade wooden headboard. A third room comes with twin beds and lavish hotel quality cotton sheets. Upstairs there is also a family bathroom with glossy metro tiles and an electric power shower.

A welcome pack including locally baked pastries and locally ground coffee is provided. The hosts also provide 1 bag of wood in the winter for the open fire and a Bee Cottage map of Rutland.

Within 10 minutes of Cottesmore is Rutland Water, a fantastic water park offering fishing, walking, cycling, watersports, beaches and picnics. Stamford is a centuries-old town with magnificent Georgian architecture, excellent shops and riverside meadows.
