Sea Retreat provides 2 charming self-catering cottages that are in a prime coastal location. They are within the market town of Marazion, the perfect base for exploring the Cornish sandy beaches and the nearby town of Penzance.

Our two-holiday homes have been tastefully decorated and furnished throughout, to ensure an enjoyable stay is had by all. Trevara & Little Trevara can be let individually or together. They can sleep up to 10 people, perfect for groups of friends or family who want a breakaway, whilst having their own place to stay.

Trevara:

Sleeps up to 6 people, this is the larger of the two cottages. It has a lovely old-world charm and original features and includes:

Little Trevara:

Perfect for couples or a family, Little Trevara can sleep up to 4 people. It offers the guests the luxury of modern living, with a sense of old-world charm. Unwind watching the waves sparkling in the sun or the fury of the stormy sea. Cottage amenities include:

Marazion offers many amenities, including watersports and one of the safest sandy beaches in Cornwall - all reached by a 2-minute walk. It is a charming, ancient seaside town, dominated by views of St Michael’s Mount. It is a prime coastal location and is situated in Mounts Bay, which sweeps from Lizard Point to Land's End.

During your visit to Cornwall, you will never be short of things to do and places to explore. From galleries to museums, gardens and wildlife, places to eat and places to play, the area caters for all ages and interests.

Manor Farmhouse Cottage, St Day, Truro, Cornwall (Sleeps 1-4)

Approached down a leafy track in a peaceful traffic-free environment, amidst rolling countryside studded with ancient mines, hidden creeks and villages, the location offers an idyllic 'away from it all' setting that is also central for touring. Bicycles are thoughtfully provided for you to explore the nearby coast to coast cycle trail and there is easy travelling to Falmouth, St Agnes, Perranporth, Newquay and Truro. Just over a mile away the thriving village of Chacewater offers a Post Office, three pubs and two general stores.

Attached to the owners' farmhouse, a warm welcome awaits at this pretty whitewashed country cottage and a relaxing break is guaranteed. The warm inviting autumnal and country cream tones add a bright cheerfulness to both the living room and a gallery bedroom that are very comfortably furnished. The bedroom has a magnificent king-sized bed (all linen provided) with views of mine buildings, rolling countryside and an abundance of visiting wildlife. Waken to a dawn chorus, a perfect start to your day. Cot available (no linen provided)

A very well equipped kitchen and the addition of the separate stunning, vaulted beamed, dining room, with pull out twin beds, offers the flexibility for additional children or adults on request, at a small cost, please enquire for rates.

After a day of adventure return to your own private garden, enjoy a bottle of chilled wine and a barbecue, whilst cherishing rural tranquillity. There is ample parking outside the property.

As the cottage is positioned in the middle of the coast to coast cycle trail from Portreath to Devoran, bicycles are provided and its ideal position allows easy travelling to the North coast, Falmouth, Newquay, Truro, the Eden Project and even further attractions.

Within walking distance is the old mining village of St Day with 2 pubs, Post Office, General Stores, Butchers & Fish & Chip shop, whilst the nearby village of Chacewater offers further amenities including 3 pubs.

After a day’s adventure, you will find Manor Farmhouse Cottage the perfect place to return to, unwind and enjoy a chilled glass of wine in your private garden, reflecting on your day and planning the next.
