There are the delightful villages of Lacock, Castle Combe, Biddestone and Bradford-on-Avon within a few miles. Avebury Stone Circles, Stonehenge, Salisbury Cathedral & Bath are just a few of the Heritage sights to behold. Westonbirt Arboretum is a must during the autumn months when the Acer Walk is spectacular and we highly recommend Abbey Gardens at Malmesbury (The Naked Gardener). Early June sees the Roses, Irises & Clematis blooming here. Early spring is the time to see crocuses and snowdrops at Lacock Abbey and daffodils at Heale Gardens near Salisbury.

Bowood rhododendrons are famous and well worth a visit, as is Montisfont Abbey and The New Forest. Chippenham has The Olympiad Sports Centre with varied activities and swimming pool for the more energetic guest.

Trimnells House is a Victorian farmhouse that offers self-catering accommodation. It is located within a peaceful cul de sac in Colerne village. The village has several amenities and provides a great base for visiting nearby Chippenham.

The house is within almost an acre of lawns and gardens. It can accommodate 16 people in 4 bedrooms. All bedrooms are spacious and include a 22" TV with DVD player, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer & clock/radio-alarm

Guests have access to the onsite living/dining area which has a 40" LCD TV/DVD player, drinks chiller, ice machine, games table and Wi-Fi. There is also a self served kitchen.

Colerne offers amenities including a grocer, hairdresser, newsagent, florist and 2 pubs. A short drive away, the picturesque villages of Castle Combe and Lacock and the local towns of Bradford-On-Avon and Corsham can be of great interest and provide many and varied dining opportunities.

Wayside is conveniently located for local tourist attractions, but you can also walk from your lodge into the woods and come back for breakfast cooked with local produce. We are family and pet friendly; here you can feed our chickens and ducks, eat their eggs at breakfast and watch the pony and poultry graze from your window. Wayside offers peace and quiet together with glorious views of rural Wiltshire but we also offer modern and comfortable facilities. Woods and walks are accessible directly from the property and several hundred acres of the Forestry Commission amenity land of Pondmoor Woods is within a pleasant 500m walk from Wayside.
