Poundfield Cottages are a pair of self-catering holiday homes in East Sussex, only a 10-minute walk from the centre of Camber. Our 4-star holiday homes are approached via a private farm lane and are surrounded by lovely gardens with a private area for guests to enjoy. The holiday cottages are only a short drive from Rye where there is a train station and a variety of shops, restaurants and pubs to explore.

The holiday cottages have been carefully converted from old farm stables and can sleep up to 4 people per holiday cottage. 

Our holiday cottages have attractive gardens with a set of table and chairs to use during your stay. Pets are welcome but must be under strict control at all times as there are sheep in the surrounding fields.

The properties are a ten-minute walk away from the beautiful sandy beach at Camber and three miles from the historic town of Rye.

Robertsbridge Retreat at Cornhill, Robertsbridge, Hastings, East Sussex

Robertsbridge Retreat at Cornhill is situated in Robertsbridge, East Sussex it comprises two luxuriously furnished self catering apartments which have been converted from which was originally an old Corn Mill dating back to the mid-1800s. These are now known as the "Upper Apartment" and the "Lower Apartment" each with their own separate entrance and front door and Parking Bay. We are set within High Weald an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The Upper Apartment has two sumptuously furnished bedrooms and sleeps a total of 5/6 people (5 beds + folding beds/travel cots as required, by request).

The Lower Apartment is on the Ground Floor and has one stunning bedroom and sleeps 2/4 people (one double bed + folding beds/travel cots as required, by request).

The apartments are located in a tucked away, peaceful location in the centre of the historic Medieval town of Robertsbridge, just one minute walk from the High Street where you can find the most amazing architecture, restaurants, lovely village pubs and the local shops for groceries, as well as banks, a post office, hairdressers, butchers and florist.

Robertsbridge is a gorgeous character village, steeped in history and is perfectly and centrally located to visit all the local areas of outstanding natural beauty, an array of English Heritage and National Trust properties and gardens nearby and only 20 minutes from the fabulous dunes of Camber Sands and coastal towns like Hastings, ideal for the children. Bodiam Castle is just 10 minutes, Great Dixter 10 minutes and the spa town of Tunbridge Wells just 20 minutes. Bodiam, Rye, Tenterden, Northiam and Battle are all within 20 minutes, as are many listed cycling and country walks and nature trails.

This pet friendly holiday home is in a great location for water sports enthusiasts as the beach is part of a 7 mile stretch of golden sands and dunes. The beach is perfect for people who enjoy kiteboarding, windsurfing or just splashing around in the sea and building sandcastles.

Our holiday cottage is in a great location for water sports enthusiasts as our beach is part of a 7 mile stretch of golden sands and dunes. The beach is perfect for people who enjoy kite boarding and windsurfing or to just splash around in the sea and build a sandcastle. 

Inside the holiday cottage is a large well equipped kitchen/dining room with patio doors to garden. There is a superb open-plan sitting room with picture window to the back and balcony to front. Our holiday home also has a children's playroom with small sofa bed (suitable for a child).
