White House at Brinsop, Brinsop, Hereford, Herefordshire

White House at Brinsop is a Grade II listed farmhouse dating from the 15th Century that offers self catering accommodation in two charming cottage apartments situated in Brinsop, Herefordshire.

The Cider Press:

Reached via an external stone staircase, the Cider Press has a secure and cosy feel due to the original oak timbers that are visible in every room. The cottage which sleeps 3 in two bedrooms has lots of character and is centrally heated and furnished sympathetically and traditionally, yet well equipped with flat-screen TV/DVD player, games, books, and a wide selection of maps and DVDs.

Egyptian cotton bedding, towels and toiletries are provided. Our guests say that washing up is a real pleasure watching the ducks on the pond from the kitchen window.

Dees Cottage:

Dees Cottage is named after Eric Dee who was born at the White House in 1923. He has numerous tales of life here from the early part of the twentieth century.

Accessed directly from the garden, this bright and inviting ground floor stone cottage is conveniently arranged on one level, in an open-plan format to provide an inclusive feel. This quaint property is well equipped with flat-screen TV/DVD player, games, books, and a wide selection of maps and DVDs if desired.

Bring your bikes, walking boots and golf clubs. The lanes and footpaths around are great for walking and cycling and two excellent golf courses are within a 10-minute drive. Mansell Lacy, Credenhill, Wormsley and Weobley are nearby and can be reached easily. There is a convenience store in Credenhill for day to day needs and newspapers and the local pub, the Bell at Tillington is within two miles.

Hay-on-Wye, the Black Mountains, Leominster, the Black and White villages and Ludlow are all within easy reach.

Alternatively, take a stroll around the fishpond and while away an hour or two watching nature at work.
