Uppermoor Farmhouse & Annexe, located on the outskirts of Parwich village, offers a splendid retreat for large groups looking for exceptional comfort in a picturesque setting. Situated at an equal distance from the famous market towns of Ashbourne, Bakewell, and Buxton, it is an ideal spot for extended family gatherings, corporate events, and various group activities.

The property comprises a beautifully renovated farmhouse and annexe that can accommodate 20-24 people, with most of the 9 or 11 bedrooms featuring private bathrooms, ensuring nearly everyone enjoys their own space. The accommodation is designed to foster social interaction, with vast areas to eat, drink, and socialise together.

The ground floor features an open plan layout, creating a wonderful space to relax and mingle. The kitchen is equipped with white shaker-style fitted cupboards, a blend of solid oak and granite countertops, and a Belfast sink, complemented by an AGA-type oil-fired cooker and a second range cooker with two ovens. French doors lead out to the rear terraces, offering options for alfresco dining and enjoying the uninterrupted views.

Dining is a communal affair with two large dining tables that can be joined to seat everyone together. The spacious beamed sitting area includes a cozy double-sided wood-burning stove and leads into an 'Orangery Style' area perfect for enjoying the expansive views.

Each bedroom is uniquely furnished, providing a comfortable and restful environment. Ten of the eleven bedrooms come with luxurious ensuite facilities, complete with fluffy towels and bathrobes for a touch of indulgence.

For larger groups, there is the option to accommodate an additional 4 guests by booking the Coach House, which sits in the same courtyard and offers two more ensuite bedrooms.

The location of Uppermoor Farm is excellent for those keen to explore the surrounding area. It sits amidst a network of footpaths and bridleways perfect for outdoor activities. The nearby town of Ashbourne, known as the gateway to the Peak District, is rich in boutiques, antique shops, fine restaurants, and cafes, all set against a backdrop of stunning Georgian architecture. Not far away, Bakewell is famed for its delicious Bakewell Pudding, and Buxton, a spa town, offers beautiful pavilion gardens and a theater.

The farmhouse is set within 70 acres of beautiful rolling fields, offering guests the chance to witness spectacular sunsets and the characteristic dry stone boundary walling that gives the landscape a picturesque patchwork effect. Uppermoor Farmhouse & Annexe on the outskirts of Parwich village offers large groups of guests the perfect venue to enjoy superlative comfort in an idyllic setting. Located just a short drive and equal distance to the three famous market towns of Ashbourne/Bakewell and Buxton. Ideal for extended family celebrations, corporate events and group activities from ladies groups to club weekends away

Farmhouse & Annexe
Our wonderful accommodation consists of a beautifully renovated farmhouse and Annexe which sleeps 20-24 people and guests benefit from private bathrooms for almost every bedroom (either 9 or 11 bedrooms and 8 or 10 bathrooms). There is ample space for everyone to eat, drink and socialise together.

The ground floor is an open plan design and a fabulous area to unwind in. Rustle up a storm in the fully-equipped kitchen that comes with white shaker-style fitted cupboards and a combination of solid oak and granite worktops, plus a Belfast sink. Appliances include an AGA-type oil-fired cooker and a second range cooker with two ovens and a breakfast area too. French doors open onto a choice of rear terraces for Al-fresco dining with stunning uninterrupted views.

Enjoy a feast in the dining area that comes with two magnificent dining tables that easily push together for everyone to sit together. After a busy day sightseeing, unwind in the spacious beamed sitting area which includes a toasty double-sided wood-burning stove and leads into the second Sitting area which is an ‘Orangery Style’ relaxing area to savour the far-reaching views.

All of the bedrooms are individually furnished and enjoy delightful touches, perfect for a restful nights sleep. 10 of the 11 bedrooms have lavish ensuite facilities, plus sumptuous fluffy towels and bathrobes.

Please enquire to the owners if you wish to add a further 4 guests or require additional bedrooms and we can offer our Coach House which nestles in the same courtyard setting with two further bedrooms both ensuite at an optional extra cost.

Visiting Uppermoor Farm & exploring the Peak National Park/Derbyshire
We are in a fantastic location for exploring the area with a network of footpaths and bridleways right on its doorstep. The nearby town of Ashbourne (known as the gateway to the Peak District) has lots of boutiques, antique shops, superb restaurants and cafes, plus an abundance of wonderful Georgian architecture. Bakewell with its famous ‘Bakewell Pudding’ and also Buxton ‘a Spa town’ with its gorgeous pavilion gardens and theatre are a must to visit too if you have time.

We are very fortunate and own the 70 acres of rolling green fields surrounding the property and guests can watch the fabulous sunsets and feast their eyes on the famous dry stone boundary walling everywhere, which gives a ‘ pretty patchwork effect’ on the horizon. There are many superb attractions to visit which are easily accessible and just a short drive away by car including:

Chatsworth House.
Dovedale (with its famous stepping stones).
Ilam (known for being the plague village).
Thorpe Cloud.
Lathkill Dale.
Monsal Head.
Haddon Hall.

Cuilgown Old Post Office, Salen, Aros, Isle of Mull (Sleeps 1-4)


Cuilgown Old Post Office offers fabulous self-catering accommodation in the delightful village of Salen. Our unique self-contained annexe near Aros is great for an idyllic break on the beautiful Isle of Mull.

Our spacious and bright holiday home sleeps up to 4 people, great for a peaceful and comfortable getaway. The annexe is tastefully furnished and comes with an array of facilities to suit all your needs.

Inside the cottage is a newly fitted galley kitchen with a range of appliances for home cooking. A lovely conservatory comes with seating, a dining table and a toasty wood burner for the winter months. For entertainment, there are lots of books, games and DVDs.

On the ground floor is a spacious twin room, whilst a smaller attic bedroom is also available. Both rooms share a shower room.

Outside there is a wonderful garden with seating, offering a great spot for a glass of wine in the afternoon sun.

The charming village of Salen is home to a hotel, café, restaurant, filling station and well-stocked shop. Further afield you can visit lots of wonderful attractions on the Isle of Mull. Visit the gorgeous town of Tobermory with its coloured houses and independent shops or explore the amazing coastline and magical wildlife. She the majestic ruins of Duart Castle or take a trip to Iona, a small island with a historic abbey. Excellent attractions to visit include:

Largiemore Farmhouse, Ottery Ferry, Tighnabruaich, Argyll (Sleeps 1-6)


Largiemore Farmhouse in Ottery Ferry offers charming self-catering accommodation in our Farmhouse Annexe. Based in a stunning countryside setting on the eastern shores of Loch Fyne, we are great for a peaceful holiday. We are near Tighnabruaich and make the ideal location for exploring Argyll.

Our farmhouse is nestled in our small family-run estate and offers everything you need for a magical holiday in a beautiful location. The farmhouse has been tastefully converted from an old barn to provide quality accommodation.

Inside there is a delightful living area with a toasty wood-burning stove, comfy seating and a TV. Patio doors open onto the lochside. Rustle up some delicious meals in the well-equipped kitchen which come with an electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine and microwave.

Upstairs there is a spacious master bedroom with a king-size bed, ideal for a restful night’s sleep after a day of sightseeing. There are also two smaller twin bedrooms. A bathroom has a shower and bath.

This part of the country has lots of wonderful activities to enjoy. We have a lovely slipway for boat launching and Largiemore’s gorgeous gravel and the stone beach are great for finding sea creatures with the family. In loch Fyne from June to September, you can fish for mackerel and freshwater fly fishing is available with day permits on 3 local lochs. Two lovely restaurants are nearby, The Oystercatcher and Inver. Play a round at Kyles of Bute Golf Club or visit the wonderful Younger Botanic Gardens, on the Kyle of Bute.
