Set within 100 acres of farmland and woodland, the properties offer both tranquillity and space, making them an ideal base for those seeking either a peaceful retreat or a more active getaway. The setting is particularly special, with approximately 1.75 miles of private coastline along the shores of Loch Fyne, a stunning sea loch renowned for its beaches, dramatic scenery, and ever-changing views.

The Dairy Cottage comfortably accommodates up to four guests, with additional space for a cot if required. It offers a spacious open-plan layout combining the living area, kitchen, and dining space. A separate shower room and WC add convenience, while built-in wardrobes and three chests of drawers provide ample storage.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout, and guests have access to a shared laundry room complete with a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron, and ironing board. Linen and towels are provided, and each cottage benefits from parking for up to two cars. Visiting the Area

Located just a short two-minute drive or a pleasant fifteen-minute walk through woodland, the lively harbour village of Tarbert offers a variety of shops, cafés, and restaurants set around its picturesque waterfront. Fishing boats and yachts create a vibrant coastal atmosphere, while craft and souvenir shops—some also serving afternoon tea—provide plenty to explore. Overlooking the village, the ruins of Tarbert Castle offer stunning views across the bay, Loch Fyne, and the Cowal peninsula.

During the summer months, the famous PS Waverley, the world’s last seagoing paddle steamer, visits the pier. Nearby ferry services also provide easy access across the loch and to surrounding islands. For outdoor enthusiasts, the area offers excellent walking opportunities, including routes near the castle that form part of the long-distance Kintyre Way, as well as a range of scenic woodland and coastal paths suitable for both walking and cycling.
