Tranquil Sands Holiday Home is a spacious and modern self-catering bungalow sleeping up to four guests, located on the west side of North Uist in the Western Isles. Set within a stunning island landscape, North Uist is renowned for its white sandy beaches and turquoise seas, offering an idyllic and truly memorable getaway.
Accommodation
The bungalow features a fully equipped kitchen with everything needed for a comfortable holiday, including a dishwasher, fridge freezer, built-in coffee machine and breakfast bar. The dining room has an extendable table seating up to six guests, and patio doors lead out onto a south-facing decked area, ideal for outdoor dining and relaxation.
The lounge offers a comfortable space to unwind, with a large 60-inch LED TV with Sky Q and Wi-Fi. Guests can also enjoy beautiful views from the lounge across the south, east and west.
There are two bedrooms, comprising a king-size bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a twin bedroom. Both bedrooms are fitted with built-in wardrobes and TVs, and bed linen and towels are provided for guests’ convenience.
Outside, the property benefits from a garage accessed directly from the hallway, providing secure storage for bikes, wellies and fishing equipment. The garage also houses garden furniture and a BBQ for guests to enjoy during their stay.
The Area
North Uist offers a wealth of activities and natural beauty. The island’s beaches are perfect for long walks, wildlife spotting or simply relaxing on the sand, with Maisgeir Beach within walking distance of the property. Other nearby attractions include the St Kilda Viewpoint, Balranald Nature Reserve, Seatrek boat trips and the stunning Baleshare Beach.
