Accommodation
Dating back to the 19th century, Cobble House has been tastefully renovated to a high standard while retaining many of its original features, including stripped floorboards and an authentic slate floor. The interiors blend traditional character with modern comforts.
On the ground floor, guests will find a cosy living room complete with a wood-burning stove, comfortable sofas, a TV with Freeview, a DVD player, and a Sonos Music System—ideal for unwinding after a day by the sea. The adjacent dining room seats up to six people, with a highchair available for younger guests. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, kettle, and toaster. A small utility room houses a washer and dryer, alongside a convenient downstairs toilet.
Upstairs, the first floor features a spacious master bedroom with an en suite bathroom, as well as a main family bathroom. The second floor offers two twin bedrooms, making the property ideal for families or groups. All beds are made prior to arrival, and bed linen is provided.
Outside, guests can enjoy a private garden with a patio area that offers views over Padstow Harbour—a perfect setting for al fresco dining or simply soaking up the coastal atmosphere.
Discovering Padstow and Cornwall
Cobble House provides an excellent base for exploring Padstow and the wider Cornwall region. Several beautiful beaches are located nearby, including St George’s Cove, Tregirls, and Hawker’s Cove—ideal for families. Across the river, the golden beaches of Rock are just a five-minute ferry ride away.
Local attractions include Prideaux Place, a stunning Elizabethan country house overlooking Padstow, complete with formal gardens and a deer park. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy the Camel Trail, which begins in Padstow and follows the scenic route through Wadebridge and Bodmin, continuing on to the village of Blisland on Bodmin Moor. The trail offers breathtaking scenery and abundant wildlife.
One of Padstow’s greatest charms is its working harbour, where visitors can explore a wide selection of shops, eateries, and galleries while enjoying the maritime ambience of this beloved Cornish town.
