Weiroch Lodge in Ballindalloch offers self-catering accommodation, set in a countryside setting deep in the heart of Speyside. Known for its rolling, heather-clad hills rising up from the River Spey, the area is a true haven for outdoor lovers.

The kitchen/dining room is fully-equipped with a large fridge, separate freezer, electric oven, 5-burner gas hob, dishwasher, microwave, and Stellar cookware. Guests can enjoy meals around an antique dining table that seats up to 8 people, with views across the Spey valley.

The sitting room features a high vaulted ceiling, a wood burner, comfy sofas upholstered in tweed, antique furniture, an extensive collection of books, and magnificent trompe l’oeil wall murals, making it the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring the countryside.

Accommodation includes three bedrooms. The first bedroom on the ground floor has twin beds that can be joined to form a super king, offering amazing views towards the Cromdale Hills, and an adjoining luxury bathroom. A separate downstairs cloakroom/WC is also available. The second-floor hosts a twin/super-king room with an en suite shower room and a Velux roof light. The third bedroom features a 5ft sumptuous bed, and a 3ft fold-out bed can be added if needed, with an en suite that includes a power shower.

Outside, there is a south-facing patio with garden furniture for al fresco dining, perfect for admiring the spectacular views. Just a short stroll across the fields leads to the River Spey, and guests can also explore the 800 acres of forest adjacent to the lodge.

Visiting Ballindalloch and exploring Morayshire offers abundant natural scenery with plenty of walks right on the doorstep. The world-famous Speyside Way provides about 65 miles of trails, and the 49 Munros are great for hill walking. The River Spey is ideal for fishing, boasting some of Scotland’s best salmon and sea trout fisheries. Numerous golf courses are nearby, including those at Ballindalloch, Grantown-on-Spey, Nethy Bridge, Dufftown, and the championship courses of Nairn and Royal Dornoch. This makes Weiroch Lodge a prime location for those seeking a blend of relaxation and outdoor adventure in Scotland.
