This beautifully furnished cottage is furnished in a contemporary style and is brimming with lots of natural light. The cottage boasts amazing views of the open fields and garden, offering magical glimpses of the sea through the oak trees.
This charming cottage is spread over two floors and sleeps up to eight people in total. The ground floor has one bedroom with a zip and link bed which can be made as two single beds or one super-king bed, 1 twin room with 2 single beds and 1 double room. One of the bathrooms has a bath with a hand-held shower, whilst the other bedroom has a gorgeous walk-in shower.
On the ground floor, there is a spacious open plan kitchen/sitting/dining area which offers lovely views through the large windows and French doors. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need including a full-sized fridge/freezer, Miele washing machine, dishwasher, electric AEG oven, gas hob and microwave. Tuck into some delicious meals around the large oak dining table which seats 8 people.
The downstairs living area has very comfortable seating, a large smart TV, DVD player and French doors leading out onto the veranda where there is outdoor seating.
On the first floor, there is a further sitting room that has leather sofas, a TV and a DVD player. This is the perfect place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the kitchen area on the ground floor.
Hawthorns has its own large private garden providing a safe place for children to play. There is a patio where a large teak table and barbeque for al fresco dining, ideal for enjoying the breathtaking views.
At the front of the cottage is a veranda that faces west, perfect for evening drinks whilst watching the sun go down. A side gate leads from near the patio onto the path that runs down to the coast in one direction and to the village in the other.
There are many things to do in the local area, including enjoying some of the coastal walks where you can see a range of birds and wildlife. Guests can enjoy a range of other activities including cycling, sea fishing, horse riding, golf and much more. The villages of Morston and Blakeney both offer boat trips to visit Blakeney Point and the seal colony. There are also many stately homes and art galleries in the area that are well worth visiting during your self catering break
