Wheal Rose is a quiet village in the heart of the tin mining area of Cornwall. The coastal scenery and cliff walks are breathtaking and the cottages are 100 meters away from the Mineral Tramway, a walking and cycling network, featured on the "Railway Walks" TV programme presented by Julia Bradbury. It stretches the length and breadth of this mid-Cornwall area and you can walk from the North to the South Coast in a few hours, passing interesting landscapes with vivid yellow gorse bushes, purple heather and Buzzards overhead.
