Summer Haze Cottage, Higher Warcombe, Woolacombe, Devon (Sleeps 1-6)

Summer Haze is a delightful self-catering cottage situated in the quiet hamlet of Higher Warcombe. It is close to Woolacombe and is nestled in a beautiful part of North Devon within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Our pet and child-friendly property is the perfect place to stay for all the family. The lounge/diner with wood burner is accessed from the kitchen, has a three-seater sofa + 2 seater sofa and large beanbag, extendable table with six chairs + highchair, TV/ video player, windows with views of the countryside. We are the perfect home-from-home environment.

The solid oak feature staircase within the lounge was sourced from woodland situated in the valley behind the cottage. These lead to a large double bedroom with a four-poster bed with side tables (there is a cot available on request), a dressing table, a set of drawers and a window with sea views. An additional bedroom with staggered bunk beds is situated off the same landing and has a Velux window. Stairgates are positioned at the top and bottom of the stairs.

The fully equipped kitchen has direct access to the private garden and parking areas. They consist of gravelled areas directly outside the cottage, with outside lighting, raised flower beds, and table/chairs, Small stone steps give access to the raised lawn with bench seats and additional table-raised flower beds. Further trees and rotary washing line. This area further leads to a secluded area with a picnic bench, planted pots and mature trees, ideal for barbeques.

We have an enclosed area with three swings, a slide and garden toys, a playhouse, car and trikes etc, ideal for younger children.

We are just 10 (by car) minutes from the award-winning sandy surf beaches of Woolacombe and one mile from the picturesque village and coves of Lee (good for rock pooling and snorkelling). Ideally suited for walking the southwest coastal path, we are just minutes within walking distance from the property.
