Upon entering, visitors are greeted by a spacious lounge adorned with a beamed ceiling, cosy lighting, and a beautiful stone fireplace housing a log-burning stove. The lounge transitions seamlessly into a dining area, featuring an oak dining table, and a comfortable seating area equipped with a flat-screen TV, DVD player, and CD/radio player. Adjacent to the lounge is a superbly fitted kitchen boasting exposed beams, high-quality kitchen units, a fitted hob and oven, microwave, fridge, and automatic washing machine.

Ascending to the upper floor, guests will discover the luxurious double bedroom, adorned with warm lighting, a TV, and an original French cast iron bed, adding a touch of elegance to the space. Next door, an elegant bathroom awaits, boasting exposed beams, an original French cast iron bath, WC, and a separate shower.

Aylsham Windmill, Aylsham, Norfolk (Sleeps 1-6)

Aylsham Windmill has been converted into luxurious self catering accommodation for 6 people. The holiday accommodation is situated on the outskirts of the historic market town of Aylsham in Norfolk.

Accommodation

The holiday accommodation is on 4 floors linked by normal domestic stairs.

Ground floor: entrance hall leading to utility room with sink, washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer. Separate cloakroom.

First floor: Beamed open plan living area with fitted kitchen, fully equipped and with fridge, dishwasher, microwave, gas cooker and hob. Lounge has 3 sofas and a bean bag, dining table and 6 chairs, TV with digital Freeview, DVD/VCR player, radio/CD/tape player. Hearth with wood burner effect gas fire.

Second floor: Two bedrooms, one double one twin sharing a ‘Jack and Jill’ en suite shower room.

Third floor: Double bedroom ( king size) with en suite bath and shower room.

There are 2 further floors which are not accessible to guests.

The self catering property has full gas central heating. Private walled patio garden with garden furniture and gas barbeque.

Windmill is just two miles from the historic village of Tideswell. The area has a beautiful church known as 'The Cathedral of the Peak'. It is also close to Hope Valley which includes Castleton (just 4 miles away). This is famous for its castle and limestone caverns. The cottage is popular with walkers as we are nestled in a beautiful part of the Peak District, with many walks starting right from the front door.
