Sycamore Cottage at Woodland Hills Court is an award-winning holiday home for 2 people. This cosy retreat is in the village of Stanton by Bridge in Derbyshire. We are only a mile from Melbourne, 3 miles from Donington Park Motor Racing and 7 miles from Derby. 

Our holiday home has been thoughtfully decorated and furnished to provide guests with a place to stay that feels like a home from home. The main living room is open plan and incorporates kitchen and dining areas. The house includes everything you need for an enjoyable break away.

South Derbyshire offers lots of entertainment for all ages Donington Park motor racing, Alton Towers, Calke Abbey, Kedleston Hall, Twycross Zoo, and lots more in the National Forest, including horse riding and walking. Visitors are assured of a warm welcome on arrival and a comfortable base to enjoy this beautiful area in the heart of England. Nottingham East Midlands Airport is just minutes away. Activities range from walking and cycling to attractions such as Twycross Zoo and Donington Park. Chatsworth House is about 40 minutes by road. Whether you are visiting Ivy Farm House for an unwinding break or are travelling for a night due to work, the idyllic scenery and laid-back atmosphere ensure a relaxing time for all.

Each of our spacious self-catering holiday cottages is  fully centrally heated to ensure that your holiday cottage is as comfortable as it is possible for a holiday cottage to be.

Peacefully situated, traditional single storey holiday cottages, four-star rating with Gold Awards by Visit England; three of the cottages are especially suitable for disabled guests. 

The bathrooms in the three disabled cottages are wet rooms, the fourth cottage has a rolltop bath with a shower over. Each self-catering cottage has a fully equipped kitchen.
