Upper Kingston Farm Cottages offers exceptional self-catering accommodation just 2 miles from the historic market town of Ringwood. Set on a charming working farm in Hampshire, the cottages provide a peaceful rural retreat.

The collection of beautifully restored Victorian farm buildings has been tastefully furnished and equipped with excellent facilities to suit a range of guests.

The Swallows Nest – Sleeps 2
This cottage features high ceilings and original oak beams, making it ideal for couples. It enjoys lovely views over the paddock and courtyard and includes a modern kitchen, a spacious lounge/bedroom area with a double bed, a shower room, a wall-mounted TV/DVD player and a log burner.

The Dairy – Sleeps 2
Overlooking the courtyard, this cottage retains its original oak beams and offers a relaxing lounge, a contemporary kitchen, a TV/DVD player, a log burner and a shower room. It sleeps 2 in a double bed, with a bed settee available for an additional guest upon enquiry.

The Granary – Sleeps 4
Ideal for families, this cottage accommodates up to 4 guests and offers views of the paddock and courtyard. It features a double bedroom with en suite facilities, a twin room, a separate shower room, a modern kitchen and a comfortable living area with a large flat screen TV and a wood burner.

The Barn – Sleeps 4
Overlooking the courtyard, this cottage includes both a double and a twin en suite bedroom. The inviting living area features a large flat screen TV/DVD player, a well-equipped kitchen and a log burner.

The Stable – Sleeps 4
Perfect for families, this cottage has its living area on the upper floor to make the most of the surrounding views. It includes exposed oak beams, a double en suite bedroom, a twin room and an additional shower room. The well-equipped kitchen also features a log burner and a large flat screen TV/DVD player.

Onsite facilities include a convenient laundry room and a local farm shop offering a wide selection of fresh, locally sourced produce.

Visiting the Area
Guests can enjoy a variety of nearby attractions, including riding centres suitable for all skill levels, boat fishing trips from Poole Harbour and excellent fishing along the nearby River Avon. Other popular places to visit include Moors Valley, Go Ape Moors Valley, the New Forest National Park and Bisterne Manor.

Rates range from £325 to £1025 per week depending on the season and property. The cottages accommodate a maximum of 4 people, children are welcome, and guests can enjoy a communal garden, log burners in each property, off-street parking and Wi-Fi access. Pets are not permitted.

Avon Accommodation offers charming self catering accommodation in Ringwood, nestled in a gorgeous area of Hampshire. We are in the ideal location for discovering all that the area has to offer.

Accommodation:

We have two fantastic apartments available, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The apartments are brimming with character and have been beautifully refurbished to a high standard. Both apartments are reached via a steep staircase from the restaurant.

Avon View:

This delightful apartment comes with a cosy lounge area with a sofa bed, flatscreen digital TV DVD player with Freeview, DVD Library, radio and CD player, folding dining table with 4 chairs and electric wood burning fire. Rustle up some delicious meals in the fully-equipped kitchen that comes with a sink and combination microwave, electric hob, toaster, fridge and folding prep table.

The attractive double bedroom comes with a flatscreen digital TV DVD player with Freeview, hair dryer and tea/coffee making facilities. The en suite bathroom has a bath/shower.

Avon Mist:

Our wonderful apartment has a lovely lounge to unwind in after a day sightseeing. Facilities include a flatscreen digital TV DVD player with Freeview, DVD Library, radio /CD player, folding dining table with 6 chairs and electric coal effect fire. Cook up a storm in the fully-equipped kitchen that comes with a microwave, electric hob, toaster, fridge with ice box, sink and folding prep table.

A spacious double room comes with a flatscreen digital TV DVD player with Freeview, hairdryer, and tea/coffee-making facility. A smaller bedroom has two single beds and the shower room has a shower, basin and toilet.

Guests at both apartments receive a welcome pack with milk, breakfast, cereal and wine, complimentary tea/coffee and 10% off the restaurant.

Visiting Ringwood & Exploring Hampshire:

Ringwood is a lovely place to explore, home to independent shops, national chains, supermarkets, lots of great restaurants and bustling pubs. Mountain bike off road trails can be enjoyed in both forests and coarse fishing is available right on our doorstep. Cycle hire is available at Moors Valley Country Park and half a dozen golf courses are within a 10/15 minute drive. Superb attractions to visit include:

Old Bridge Cottage and Riverside Studio, Ringwood, Hampshire (Sleeps 1-18)

Old Bridge Cottage and Riverside Studio are located on the banks of the River Avon in the pretty market town of Ringwood. The house and studio can be rented out as one and sleep 18 people in total plus 4 extra in 2 sofa beds.

A heated outdoor pool is available from Easter to Mid October, or relax in the hot tub and sauna. There is 100-feet of riverbank, with fishing rights and tackle shops a couple of hundred yards away.

Old Bridge Cottage sleeps up to 11 in 5 bedrooms. There is plenty of space for socialising. 

Riverside Studio sleeps 2 adults and a pull out sofa bed can allow for extra guests.

Ringwood is a market town on the edge of the New Forest. It is an ideal place from which to explore this beautiful part of England, with fishing available off the river bank. It has many fine places to eat and drink and a variety of shops. There is a number of good pubs nearby, our favourite being the Star Inn in the Marketplace. This offers excellent local Ringwood Beer and wonderful Asian food.
