Located in Dumfries and Galloway just 20 minutes from Castle Douglas the Food Town and 5 minute walk into New Galloway. New Galloway offers two pubs, two tea rooms, a 9 hole golf course, post office, umpteen dozen walks, mountain biking, cycling, fishing, sailing, and loads more.

There are tons of things for the kids to do, playing in the very large front garden with the adventure playground, swings or kicking a ball or flying a kite. Kids - your Mums and Dads will find this holiday house a relaxing fun house to be in. Mums and Dads - your kids will want to visit it time and time again. You may even bump into Kune Kune our famous NZ pig!!

Rowan Cottage was created from a barn, stable and byre in 1998. Inside it is light and airy with simple white walls and natural pine doors and fittings.

The accommodation for 6+ people consists of an entrance porch with dual access to the lounge and to the well appointed kitchen. A hallway leads to the master double bedroom and main toilet/shower room. Upstairs there are two spacious twin rooms and a W.C. cloakroom.

The cottage benefits from oil fired central heating. The boiler house provides secure storage for bikes etc.

Rowan is bounded on the south by a private lane leading to a parking and turning area for two cars. It has a mature secluded garden to the side of the parking area.
