Visitors can also explore the town’s splendid square and ancient abbey ruins. Anglers will appreciate easy access to the River Tweed, world-famous for salmon and trout fishing.

Cycling enthusiasts can enjoy the network of quiet lanes surrounding Burnbrae, while more demanding tracks in the nearby hills appeal to those with experience and stamina. A range of walking routes is also available, from short strolls beginning on-site to longer trails across the Borders. Despite its dramatic scenery, the region is welcoming rather than daunting, and it typically enjoys drier, sunnier weather than the more western areas of Britain.

Burnbrae Holidays also offers short breaks; guests are encouraged to enquire for specific details.
