Accommodation

We have two wonderful properties to choose from, Ardcreran & Ardtorna. Both properties are stylishly furnished and come with everything you need for a special holiday in a glorious location.

Ardcreran:

This brand new property sleeps 2 – 6 people, offering luxury accommodation in the stunning natural beauty of the Highlands. We truly are the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life. Inside there are two fabulous master en suite bedrooms, both with roll top baths to soak your troubles away in. The super king room comes with comfy beds and one room can convert into a twin. The marble bathrooms feature luxury toiletries.

A wonderful kitchen/dining area is great for home-cooking and includes a range of excellent appliances. We also provide a lovely welcome hamper for stays from 4 nights. After a busy day sightseeing, unwind in the spacious living room in front of the Samsung frame TV.

Outside there is seating, offering a great place for al fresco dining whilst savouring the stunning views. Private hot tub for an additional fee

Excellent features include air source underfloor heating, Samsung Frame TVs, electric curtains, Dyson fans/hairdryer and complimentary laundry service throughout your stay.

Ardtorna:

Our superb property sleeps 2 to 12 people and can also be booked on a B&B basis. The property is stylishly furnished and offers outstanding views, perfect for an idyllic getaway.

We have 6 luxury bedrooms, offering either a colour changing wet room or a spa bath with a power shower. All the deluxe rooms boast breathtaking loch views. In additional to this there is a superior double bedroom on the second floor where you can enjoy delightful hill views’ and comes with a spa bath and walk in shower

All the bedrooms come with memory foam, pocket sprung mattresses along with deluxe mattress toppers, full sized Molton Brown toiletries, hospitality trays, complimentary room fridge goods, fluffy bath robes/towels, Dyson hair dryers, TVs, iPod docking stations. Ground source underfloor heating is great for those chilly days and we also provide Dyson cooler/heaters.

Visiting Barcaldine & Exploring Argyll:

We are in a fantastic location for exploring the area, Take a scenic boat trip to the heritage sites of Iona and Staffa, based on the scenic island of Mull. Iona is home to a glorious abbey and Staffa is renowned for Fingal’s Cave. You can also visit Inveraray Castle or enjoy a fascinating day out at the Inveraray Maritime Museum. Visit Fort William and take a magical train ride to Mallaig. We also recommend visiting Kerrera to see its amazing sea and golden eagles, hen harriers, peregrines and gannets. Great attractions to visit include:

Lochside Lodges, Barcaldine, Oban, Argyll (Sleeps 1-2)

Lochside Lodges are a pair of well-appointed lodges in a beautiful part of Scotland. They offer a comfortable base for a solo traveller or couple to relax, a perfect retreat away from the hustle and bustle of modern-day living. The views from the lodges are fantastic and the village of Barcaldine is less than a 30-minute drive from Oban. The lodges are a fantastic base from which to explore Argyll, Bute and The Islands.

Pine Lodge and Green Lodge are designed exclusively for one or two people. (discount for single occupancy) Situated on an elevated site almost at the water's edge, they have wonderful views across Loch Creran, North through the Strath of Appin and westwards to the hills of Morvern and Mull. Constructed to a very high standard and with full insulation and double glazing they provide comfortable holiday accommodation.

There are so many interesting places to visit and things to do in the area but at the end of the day, it’s great to curl up by the window with a book, or to watch, unobserved, the comings and goings of the yachts, sea mammals and birds, or just to gaze across the loch with its ever-changing moods. What could be nicer than to sit and watch the sun go down on a perfect summer's day? In autumn, the sunsets are incredible.
