No.3 The Postyard, Letheringsett, Holt, Norfolk


No.3 The Postyard offers charming self-catering accommodation in the picturesque Glaven Valley, just one mile from the Georgian market town of Holt. This traditional flint cottage sleeps up to two guests and provides a welcoming base for exploring the beautiful countryside, coastline and attractions of North Norfolk.

Accommodation

Inside, guests will find a cosy living room complete with an open fireplace, comfortable sofa and armchair, dining area and TV. From the living room, a door leads through to the well-equipped kitchen, which includes an electric oven, hob, microwave and fridge.

Upstairs, the cottage has a twin bedroom providing comfortable accommodation for two guests. The bathroom is fitted with a bath, toilet, wash basin and shaver point.

Storage heaters provide heating throughout the property, while an immersion heater in the bathroom supplies hot water. Electricity usage is charged separately in addition to the weekly rental rate.

Outside

No.3 The Postyard benefits from its own private driveway with convenient off-road parking. The lawned garden offers plenty of space to relax and includes a summerhouse, providing a peaceful spot to unwind after a day exploring the local area.

At the front of the cottage is a quaint patio area with outdoor seating, perfect for enjoying some fresh Norfolk air. Visitors bringing bicycles can also make use of secure storage in one of the garden sheds.

One well-behaved adult dog is welcome by arrangement for a small additional charge, making the cottage a great choice for guests wishing to enjoy the area's many walks with their canine companion.

Exploring North Norfolk

With Holt just one mile away, No.3 The Postyard is ideally placed for discovering both the North Norfolk countryside and its spectacular coastline. The surrounding area offers an abundance of walking opportunities and is particularly popular with birdwatchers and nature lovers.

Cley is home to the Norfolk Wildlife Trust Visitor Centre, while Natural Surroundings at the Bayfield Estate is also nearby. Guests can discover some of the region's best-known historic and natural attractions, including National Trust locations such as Blakeney Point, Felbrigg Hall and Blickling Hall.

For a day further afield, the Cathedral City of Norwich can be reached in approximately 40 minutes and offers an excellent combination of history, culture, shops and places to eat.

Closer to the cottage, guests can enjoy a pleasant walk along the River Glaven, crossing the ford and footbridge to reach Letheringsett watermill and the Kings Head pub. It is a lovely way to experience the character and scenery of the local area without having to travel far.

Rates & Information

Weekly stays are available from £350 to £400 depending on the season.

Short breaks are also available, with a minimum stay of two nights and prices from £75 per night.

The cottage accommodates a maximum of two guests. Children and babies are welcome, although guests travelling with a baby should bring their own travel cot.

Pets are welcome by arrangement at £10 per pet, and off-street parking is provided.
