Dimpleknowe Cottage offers delightful self-catering accommodation in Lilliesleaf, set within a scenic rural estate in the Scottish Borders. Accommodation
This cosy bungalow is tastefully furnished and can accommodate up to five guests, making it perfect for families or small groups seeking a peaceful retreat. Inside, there is a comfortable sitting room with an open fire, a 42-inch flatscreen TV with Freeview and a DVD player. Guests can enjoy lovely views from the lounge and watch birds visiting the garden’s bird table.

The well-equipped kitchen and dining area includes a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, cooker, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer, along with a large dining table seating five people. There are three bedrooms: one double, one twin room with an en-suite bathroom, and a single bedroom. A travel cot can be provided if required. The family bathroom features a bath with a shower over and grab rails for added convenience. Bed linen is provided, although guests are asked to bring their own bedding for the cot.

Outside, there is off-street parking for two to three cars, and the south-facing garden includes garden furniture and sun loungers, offering a pleasant space to relax. The adjacent golf course also provides an excellent area for exercising dogs.

Lilliesleaf Golf Course is ideal for those seeking a relaxed and informal golfing experience. The course features 11 challenging holes over 2,563 yards, and welcomes both dogs and children. A golf practice and teaching range is also located nearby.

Lilliesleaf is a peaceful village ideally positioned for exploring the Scottish Borders, an area rich in history and natural beauty. The nearby town of Melrose is home to the impressive Melrose Abbey, one of the finest monastic ruins in the UK. Close by, Abbotsford, the former home of Sir Walter Scott, offers a fascinating insight into the life of the renowned writer. The Eildon Hills provide excellent walking opportunities with panoramic countryside views.

A short drive away, the market town of Jedburgh features the striking Jedburgh Abbey and a wealth of historic attractions. With its blend of scenic landscapes, historic landmarks and charming towns, the area around Lilliesleaf offers something for visitors seeking both relaxation and exploration.

Rates range from £620 to £660 per week, depending on the season. The cottage accommodates a maximum of five guests, with children welcome and up to two dogs permitted. Off-street parking and WiFi access are also provided.
