Court Farm Holidays offers child and baby-friendly cottage holidays in Cornwall, with a choice of 14 properties located together in the idyllic village of Marhamchurch, just 2 miles inland from the sandy beaches and surf of the North Cornwall coast.
The main holiday complex includes the original farmhouse and beautifully restored farm barns, which have been sympathetically updated to retain their original character while incorporating colourful, vibrant and fun interiors. In addition, a selection of modern country houses provides contemporary, spacious accommodation, complete with the added luxury of private hot tubs.
The surrounding grounds offer a haven for all ages, with a wide range of facilities available year-round. These include a warm indoor heated swimming pool, a large secure outdoor play area, all-weather tennis courts, a games room with a soft play corner, animal feeding and petting sessions, and an onsite spa and holistic treatment room.
The Barns – Located within an enclosed courtyard
Stables is a three-storey split-level barn with 3 bedrooms, sleeping up to 4 guests plus cots, set in the corner of the courtyard overlooking the swimming pool.
Parlour provides light and airy accommodation all on one level, with 2 bedrooms sleeping up to 4 guests plus cots, making it ideal for families with young children.
Hayloft is a single-storey barn offering 2 bedrooms and sleeping up to 4 guests plus cots. It is particularly suitable for toddlers thanks to its accessible, single-level layout.
Shippen Barn has 2 bedrooms, sleeping up to 5 guests plus cots, and enjoys views of the surrounding countryside and coast from its courtyard setting.
The Mill House is located in the corner of the courtyard and is spread across three floors, with 3 bedrooms accommodating up to 5 guests plus cots.
The Granary is the largest of the courtyard cottages, offering spacious accommodation with 3 bedrooms and sleeping up to 7 guests.
Country Houses with Hot Tubs – Each with private gardens
Mulberry provides contemporary, spacious accommodation for up to 6 guests, with 3 bedrooms including a master and two twins (which can be converted into super king beds on request). It features quality oak furnishings, a large lounge and dining area, leather sofas, oak flooring and a wood burner.
Sycamore offers 3 bedrooms, sleeping up to 6 guests plus cots, with a master bedroom and two twins (convertible to super king beds on request). This light and spacious house features oak flooring, leather sofas and high-quality oak furniture throughout. Dogs are welcome.
Chestnut has 4 bedrooms, sleeping up to 7 guests plus cots, and is decorated in a stylish industrial and vintage theme. It is available during the summer season only.
Cornish Cottages
Honeysuckle Cottage is full of character and charm, featuring twisted beams and slate floors in the kitchen and lounge. It has 2 bedrooms, sleeps up to 4 guests plus cots, includes an enclosed garden and welcomes dogs.
Wheelwright Cottage retains original charm with slate flooring in the lounge/dining area and a wood burner set within an inglenook fireplace. It has 2 bedrooms, sleeps up to 4 guests plus cots, includes an enclosed garden and welcomes dogs.
Fuchsia Cottage is a delightful period property tucked away down a private path, ideal for couples or small families. It has 2 bedrooms, sleeps up to 4 guests plus cots, and includes an enclosed garden with a hot tub. Dogs are welcome.
Lilac Cottage is perfect for couples or small families, situated at the end of a terrace with its own private sunny garden. It has 2 bedrooms, sleeps up to 4 guests plus cots, and welcomes dogs.
Rural Retreats
Located on the family’s farming estate at Northcott, these properties enjoy tranquil surroundings with access to a private farm lane leading to Northcott Mouth beach or inland to a local village pub. Guests can also visit the farm animals, including horses, ponies, a donkey and a goat.
The Cabin is a romantic hideaway for couples, featuring an open-plan lounge, kitchen and bedroom, along with a separate luxury bathroom. It also includes a summerhouse, hot tub, private garden and is dog-friendly.
Little Northcott is a 4-bedroom house set in a peaceful valley location, sleeping up to 8 guests plus cots. It offers beautiful views over farmland towards the sea and includes an enclosed garden with a raised patio and hot tub.
Lower Northcott Farmhouse is an impressive 9-bedroom Georgian property accommodating up to 17 guests. It features three lounges, a large dining room suitable for gatherings and celebrations, extensive gardens with outdoor play equipment and two hot tubs. Dogs are welcome.
Discounted short breaks are available from mid-September through to mid-May, excluding school holidays and half-term weeks.
Rates range from £500 to £5600 per week depending on the season and property. Court Farm Holidays caters for families, couples and groups, with dogs welcome in selected properties (an additional charge applies) and hot tubs available in certain accommodations.
